I like Fire Fang > Fire Blast for 3 reasons:

1. It has enough Speed to use Swords Dance + Fire Fang against Skarmory.
2. Fire Fang has more PP.
3. Fire Fang has more accuracy.

I'll consider that, although I went with Focus Bomb because of Magnifying Glass, and because Blissey / Snorlax can really screw me over without it.

I prefer a pure attacker Electivire, it seems much more useful to me...

Dude, I understand that, BUT Thunderpunch does just as well for this...Electivire is more used for offensive, physical moves, IMO. So, I was stating my opinion of the topic. Thunderpunch seems more useful to him instead of Thunderbolt, as long as he has an adamant nature on it.

Skarmory has base 140 defense.

I bet my entire team that his Thunderbolt [95 power] > his Thunderpunch [75 Power] against either of them.

I understand that using Thunderbolt over Thunderpunch could help in certain situations, but I PREFER thunderpunch, okay? Your first post claims Thunderpunch should be used instead.
I counter by saying WHY Thunderbolt should be used instead.

You then say something totally wrong;
you claim Thunderpunch does "just as well for this",
and I simply explain to you on my next post why it's NOT true.

Next thing I know, you totally snap, telling me I need to accept other opinions and that I think I know it all because I pointed out a FACT.
Really, how shameful, I've lost every shred of respect I may have ever developed for you, in advance of course;
preventing is better than recovering.

In conclusion:
Use Thunderpunch over Thunderbolt and you'd be totally laughed at.
Thunderbolt does at least twice the damage that Thunderpunch would do to those two Pokemons,
even with Adamant for the latter.

Okay, Bolt isn't fully better than Punch. For example, Gallade, I think it favors punch, so bolt isnt fully better than punch, just sometimes a better option. As for me, Electivire favors its attack power, and thunderpunch fits more into its full potential.

You should play Netbattle, it'll give you a taste of competitive battling and the beast that is Skarmory.

I tried downloading netbattle, it wont work while downloading I need help with it...and I meant like creating a good team FireRed with good pokemon on it...
