Okay, I haven't really played pokemon for a few years. I'm going to ask a few questions; the first set aren't really important as I'll find the answers during my test file that I'll start soon. The final two are the ones that I hope people can help me with.

Less-important questions:
Does Light Screen double Special (i.e., it is to Amnesia as Reflect is to Barrier) or just halve damage taken from special attacks?
Focus Energy doesn't work right...right?
Does Substitute prevent the user from being KO'd by its own Selfdestruct/Explosion?
What exactly does and doesn't Haze reset?
Can Dizzy Punch cause confusion?
Can Rock Slide cause flinching?
Is it true OHKO's/Counter only work against Normal- or Fighting-type Pokemon/attacks?
Can you always choose which attack Mimic mimics? If not, when can't you?
What does Conversion do?

As a follow-up to all of the above: What about in Stadium?

Are there competitive Pokemon RBY organizations that will allow Double Team/Mewtwo/Mew if the team has a fair handicap (Ditto, etc) to compensate?

1. I suppose my Light Screen question could also be taken as a Special stat question. Now that I think of it, the question also relates to X Special and Guard Spec.. I noticed that when one uses Light Screen, the message states that thier Pokemon is protected against special attacks. I figure that would mean raising the Special stat, which would also mean increasing the damage done by the Light Screening Pokemon's special attacks. The same goes for using Guard Spec., and the reciprocal applies to X Special. A more thorough way to ask the question would have been: Do Light Screen, X Special, and Guard Spec. affect your Pokemon as if Special were two seperate stats (like in GSC), or do they just increase the whole Special stat like Growth and Amnesia? And if they just increase Special like Growth and Amnesia, then why do X Special and Guard Spec. both exist, cuz wouldn't they just have identical effects?
2. I think I can recall instances in which I was battling a Primeape and I'd be super annoyed at the fact that Karate Chop would always crit, then it would use Focus Energy and after that it would crit no more. Also I've heard that there's a bug/glitch (I don't know the difference) that causes Focus Energy to reduce critcal hit odds to zero.
3. I'll test this one, hopefully it'll work and end up being a killer combination.
4. Haze also eliminates some special status conditions (poison etc), though as I recall there are certain conditions which will not be eliminated if they're on the Hazing Pokemon...perhaps there are ones that won't be eliminated from the opposing Pokemon, either..."which ones?" was mostly what I was driving at. I'm also curious whether it undoes other things, like Mist or Substitute, though I'm about 98% sure that it doesn't.
5.Thanx
6.Thanx
7. So this means that Flying, Rock, Bug, Poison, Ghost, and Ground attacks can't be Countered although they use the Attack stat like Normal and Fighting attacks? ...Also, I've been told a few times that one-hit KO's only work on Normal or Fighting Pokemon, though I'm pretty sure I have firsthand memories that tell otherwise.
8. Even when battling another human player, right?
9. Thanx
10. I mean, do the answers to any of the above questions change if they are asked about Pokemon Stadium instead of PRBY?
11. Bummer...I've been dying to wreak some havok with my Swift Dancing Farfetch'd.
