Team name: Vive le Resistance...Cause it's intended to resist attacks...
Zapdos @ Petaya Berry / Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 88 HP / 168 Spd / 252 SAtk
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Light Screen
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt
Resistances: Grass, Flying, Ground, Steel.
Works pretty well. 305 Speed + 348 Sp. ATK = OHKO on Salamence. Currently uses Petaya, but I've never been able to pull it off...ergo: Lefties.
Flygon (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 156 HP / 184 Atk / 168 Spd
Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast
- Hidden Power [Rock]
- Substitute
Can resist Ground, Rock, Fire, and Electric attacks. Sweet! 282 ATK sucks, but it gets the job done. Still kinda unsure about Fire Blast. Maybe Quick Attack, or HP BUG / Ghost. Although, I really hate Rock Slide since that 90% always gets me at a critical junction.
Lapras (M) @ Chesto Berry
Trait: Water Absorb
EVs: 140 Atk / 180 Spd / 188 SDef
Lonely Nature (+Atk, -Def)
- Double-Edge
- Dragon Dance
- Ice Beam
- Rest
Resistances: Water, Ice.
Haha! The unexpected Lapras. Ice Beam can OHKO Salamence, but Salamence can OHKO Lapras. It pretty much comes down to a prediction war. 201 Speed and 265 ATK plus 206 Sp. ATK.
Magneton @ Leftovers
Trait: Magnet Pull
EVs: 156 HP / 100 Spd / 252 SAtk
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Substitute
- Thunder Wave
- Thunderbolt
Maggy, gotta love this thing. Although it's Defenses suck, it makes up for them with so many resistances and immunities. Plus, whatever hurts it, Flygon can counter (except fighting). HP Grass kinda sucks though...maybe Ice once again?
Gengar (M) @ Lum Berry
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Destiny Bond
- Ice Punch
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt
Resistances: Ground, Normal, Fighting...nuff said.
Snorlax (M) @ Chesto Berry
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 188 HP / 68 Atk / 136 Def / 116 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Curse
- Double-Edge
- Rest
- Shadow Ball
Standard Curselax.
Chesto Berries actually seem to help me more than Lefties on PKMN that can rest. Oh well.
Anyways...RMT please.

Only need 300 to beat 'Mence. 300 or 329, depending on their nature. Petaya can work, but I've never used it really. I've pulled it off a few times... Oh, and Thunder Wave over Light Screen unless LS really helps you. I'm big on Paralysis(or I was... now I don't have anything on the team that can use it besides Raikou). Petaya'd go better on Endurers, y'know? Like a Rain Danced, Torrented, STABed, Petaya enhanced Surf would be murderous. What's that, x1.5(Petaya)+2(Rain Dance)x1.5(Torrent)x1.5(STAB)... wow, I've gotta try that out. Thanks for the idea! I don't know how, but you gave it to me. ^^ 9.5/10
Resistances: Grass, Flying, Ground, Steel.

Agreed, but it's generally better to have. I'd say keep Fire Blast on there for Skarm. 8/10, and I'd probably take off Sub for something, but I'm not too sure what. I'm not a big fan of Flygon.
Lapras (M) @ Chesto Berry
Trait: Water Absorb

Looks nice. Double-Edge should be fun, but how about Body Slam or Return? You don't take damage that way *shrugs* oo and is 206 SAtk enough to take out Gengar/Dusclops? What about 'Gross? I'd go with Lefties too, but hey, that's totally up to you. 7/10
Magneton @ Leftovers
Trait: Magnet Pull
EVs: 156 HP / 100 Spd / 252 SAtk
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)

I prefer Grass, honestly. Its defense do kinda suck, yeah, but whatever. I'd go with your current set, seeing that Swampert is more common on teams than Salamence(at least whenever I play NB). 10/10
Gengar (M) @ Lum Berry
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Destiny Bond
- Ice Punch
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt
Resistances: Ground, Normal, Fighting...nuff said.
Hum... ya could go with Dusclops if you're not worried too much about the ground thing, cuz Dusclops has way better defenses... but this 'Gar will work. Maybe put W-o-W/Confuse Ray(it's worth it) on there somewhere... 8/10
Snorlax (M) @ Chesto Berry
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 188 HP / 68 Atk / 136 Def / 116 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Curse
- Double-Edge
- Rest
- Shadow Ball
I'd say Return over D-E... after you've maxed out your attack with cursing, D-E should do a helluva a lot to you >_< Return won't kill ya. I prefer Lefties. 8/10
Standard Curselax.

8.5/10 for the average of the pokemon, and overall, I'd say 8. Nice job there. I'm a bit critical though, so don't take it too seriously.

I am actually glad you (and hopefully others) are (will be) critical.
Anyways, I may max spped on Zapdos and give it Thunder Wave...though LS does help defend Snorlax while it Curses up.
Flygon was one of the wildcards in here since it has so many resistances...unfortunately, Tyranitar can (and has) ripped through it. It's Rock Slide did 34% damage...even with Flygon's resistance (granted it was STABed). I dunno know about this guy...maybe Swampert or Dugtrio.
I actually would never leave lapras in against Metagross for obvious reasons (unless it was really low on health or had DD several times). It's actually there to scare off water PKMN such as Suicune. Basically, come in on surf/ice beam, DD on the switch, and either continue DDing or just DE attack.
Gengar is my baby. It's fast, forces swithces (unless they have Rock Slide), and can pull off Kamikaze.
Magneton was another wild card because it has so many resistances. However, even with an electric resistance, Zapdos's T-bolt did 50%. That's freakin' bull.
Snorlax was initially more offense oriented (Adamant w/ 252 ATK EV's), but I decided it needed that defense boost. I LOVE Double-Edge and will probably never replace that attack over return (but maybe for Body Slam in another of my varients).
Now, I noticed Tyranitar or things with Rock Slide always give me trouble, any comments on that.
Also Reap: I've already tried that power up tactic with Typhlosion...it was stated in the thread titled something like "Evil Combos". It works best with Fire PKMN because of Overheat.

sounds good, but LS for 'Lax, yeah, that sounds good.

That wastes a turn though, where 'Gross could easily use Agility or MM your switch for uber damage(if it's CBGross, like I use.)

Agreed. That always ticked me off. Maybe add some special defense EVs?

Mine has 501 / 300 / 200 / 100 / 149 / 288 or something... 501 HP, 300 Atk, 200 Def, 100 Spd(hey, outspeed other Laxies), 288 SDef. 1200 attack is fine by me.
Now, I noticed Tyranitar or things with Rock Slide always give me trouble, any comments on that.
Lax with a curse or two, 'Cune, 'Gross, Aggron(-.-), Steelix... Donphan... Swampert... anything else that resists it :)
Also Reap: I've already tried that power up tactic with Typhlosion...it was stated in the thread titled something like "Evil Combos". It works best with Fire PKMN because of Overheat.
oh yeah, i remember that...
Good points you brought up. I'll try out the fire one, maybe w/Charizard. oOo...
Ninjask @ Petaya Berry
SubPass to Charizard after Petaya activates
Charizard-Sunny Day if you can, then either sub or endure(probably sub...) till the petaya activates, that's double petaya, sunny day, Blaze, and STAB... plus Overheat's uber damage... dang... that'd kill anything... besides blissey -.-
Too lazy to do it :)

Zapdos: Looks like an okay lead. I usually prefer a durable over fast zapdos, but again, that's just personal preference. Then again, I always use thunder wave, so yeah -_-
Flygon: Why not just max out the attack? Flygon's not very durable in terms of stats, and just uses his resistances to avoid damage.
Lapras: With this kind of lapras, I'd just shove everything into attack, speed, and special attack. Rest + Dragon dance also seems rather mismatched. Your best way to heal is switching into water attacks.
Lapras (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 Atk / 180 Spd / 76 SAtk
Lonely Nature (+Atk, -Def)
- Hidden Power [Fighting]
- Return/Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
- Dragon Dance
I'd try this out. It's got enough speed and attack so that one dragon dance is enough to put you in business. Two is 400 speed and almost 600 attack. Hidden power fighting hits snorlax/blissey hard, who the opponent will assume they can switch in safely. Ice beam is a nice STAB attack, and puts a dent in skarmory. Dragon dance for obvious reasons.
Return gives you a good 102 base power physical attack, but thunderbolts will let you hurt stuff like suicune/skarmory pretty bad. However, your only physical move would be base 70 power...
Magneton: I never use it. I don't like it, but it is an evil little thing. Made me put substitute on my skarmory.
Gengar: Maybe try focus punch over substitute? If I'm not mistaken, if you use destiny bond, and then attempt to focus punch but get KO'd before you can, destiny bond still kills the opponent. So if they try to do other stuff to avoid destiny bond, focus punch their arse. Although, you'd have to really increase that attack...
Snorlax: If the chesto berry is working, then he's all good.

I've given this team a few more test runs...turns out it ain't all that.
I've learned a few things from it, but it's time to Scrap.
Thank you Reap and Venny for the help...and I hope you'll help with the new RMT that i'll soon post.
