Help with Battle Frontier(specifically Palace and Factory)

I already got ALL Silver Symbols and FIVE Gold Symbols. Only expert advice will be appreciated. Before anyone says this, I know about Serebii.

Battle Palace team:

Salamence
Adamant @ Choice Band
EVs: 252 ATK/252 SPD/6 HP, Perfect ATK IV:cool:
-Aerial Ace
-Rock Slide
-Earthquake
-Brick Break

Metagross
Adamant @ Lum Berry
EVs: 252 ATK/Some SPD/Some HP
-Meteor Mash
-Earthquake
-Sludge Bomb
-Rock Slide(Explosion is bad at the Palace)

Snorlax
Adamant @ Leftovers
EVs: Some HP/Some DEF/Some ATK/Some SP.D
-Return
-Earthquake
-Curse
-Shadow Ball(Rest is bad at the Palace)

I went up to Spencer for the Gold Symbol twice and got haxed beaten both times.(stupid Palace) I know ALL the Pokemon the Frontier Brains uses snd their movesets and their EVs and their IVs.

Any advice on Battle Factory Gold? The Silver is easy, but the Gold is just plain hard! I know ALL Pokemon at the Battle Frontier, but I still need more advice.

There's a fix for everything.

Salamence: Standard CBMence. Really nothing to say.

Metagross: Standard Metagross, nothing to say.

Snorlax: Despite the lower power, Body Slam should be used on Snorlax due to the chance of Paralysis. However, if you want to get more instant results than long term results, go ahead and use Return. If you are worried about Ghosts with Levitate, then go with Shadow Ball over Earthquake.

I'm sure you're aware of IV and Nature Breeding using Dittos?

For my suggestions:

You have nothing but Physical Pokemon. A Weezing with W-o-W can really tear apart this team, save for Snorlax due to Rest. But if Snorlax if out of the running for that battle, then your going to be in alot of trouble. Due to this, I would say you should replace Salamence with:

Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Fire Punch

I replaced Salamence due to the fact that using a Choice Banded Pokemon can be risky. If they have 2+ Pokemon left and CBMence is your only Pokemon, using Earthquake only to find out one of their remaining Pokemon is a Flying Type or a Pokemon with Levitate. It also has to do with the fact that Snorlax and Metagross can serve as Special and Physical sponges respectively, meaning that you have Pokemon that can Wall while they set up without having to worry about much.

This team seems very well rounded now. You shouldn't have very many problems.

This is for the Battle Frontier, NOT competitive play. Don't give me any of this from either from smogon or serebii. Battle Frontier=/=Competitive Play. Battle Palace DEFINITELY =/= Competitive Play. I need good BATTLE FRONTIER advice.

Sorry if I sounded harsh, but I desperately need good advice on BF, not competitive battle advice.

About the Weezing thing, again, this is BF, not Competitive.

at the battle palace, usually pokemon dont attack a lot unless you give them all attack move selections.

i would say get rid of snorlax's curse, and add maybe a good attack move, such as hyper beam. sure, its really really stupid to lose a turn of battling, but snorlax has such a tough hide, and such high hp.

use hyper beam instead of curse on snorlax, and then try. sure 1 turn battling lost. but 1 turn of hyper beam can turn the tide of battle. if snorlax dies, the pokemon hes facing will be near dead.

Uh, no it isn't. Explosion is really good at the BF in general. Not sure about the Palace... but still. MM/EQ/Explosion/Agility or Sludge(if Sludge, go with CB, and use like a DDMence or something...)

Return/Curse/Shadow Ball/Rest. Rest is fine at the palace, especially with Lax's uber HP.

Edit: Oh, the palace is the random moves thing, right? Sorry. Forget what I said. Hum... I'd say go all out attacking pretty much, with Rest on Lax, and no Curse. BB on Mence. Sorry bout that.

Skarmory isn't a problem at the frontier, it's NOT competitive battle for the last time! 3 Brick Breaks and Skarmory's dead. It's not like playing against real people, sometimes these Pokemon just uses random moves. Besides, using a move for a specific Pokemon is stupid at the frontier.

Explosion is terrible at the Palace. My Pokemon uses RANDOM moves.
Rest-See Explosion.

Soory again for harshness, I read you edited post. But Rest is still bad at the Palace.

I don't play emerald but have you tried combining explosion with fly? In theory it works because Salamence has earthquake and can mop up anything left from explosion. It might be worth experimenting with.

I wrote it up after challenging it so everything was fresh in my mind at the time, and based on experience. Also, I ran a thread where others contributed ideas specific to the Factory and included them in that section wherever they were helpful.

It's not very long and you may find it helpful to read through, or even re-read. Even if you learn one thing that can help you, it will be worth the time you spent.

BTW, I still hold to my theory regarding the Factory (as discussed in that section of the Help Thread), though there has never been a way to prove it. Also, I don't know if anyone ever actually proved the idea of increasingly high IVs as you switch rentals.

I know everything from the BF help thread already. I need help with Spencer. I went up to him twice, I just need to beat him. If I need these advice, I could just look at Serebii, but I hoping there's someone on Pojo who has all the Gold Symbols.

I very very very sorry but, I need advice from people who already got all Gold Symbols. If you got all the Gold Symbols, can you post your Palace team?

Like I said before, BF is different from competitive battle. Ex. Fire Blast on Slamence is useless, Skarmories are just asa random as any other Pokemon at the BF. It's IVs suck, and it isn't played by a real person, not to mention bad movesets.

I spend literally YEARS trying to conquer the BF.

I started EV training and all the other complex mechanic about over half a year ago. But I still need 2 more Gold Symbols. I wouldn't be surprised that Emerald is ranked 1 of the hardest games ever made.
