It's up to personal preference I guess. I personally prefer anorith. Armaldo is a pretty sweet pokemon, getting access to rapid spin and knock off. He can swords dance too, and gets rock blast for owning substitutes. After a swords dance, his rock blast does a good job at owning skarmory too.

Cradily is more of a tanker I guess... He would be better if he got leech seed but meh, he doesn't. A good toxic-user though.

Armaldo is a beastly sweeper if speed is passed to it. Give it a Swords Dance or two as well and it will go to town with Hidden Power [Bug] and Rock Blast.

Cradily can Rock Slide and Earthquake as well, just not as good as Armaldo can. Give it Toxic and.. I hate to say it, but Double Team, and it can be quite annoying. It also won't be forced out either, always nice.

I personally like lileep better.he is a tanker as venny said. he learns some cool moves,armaldo is your fossil if you want attack.

On a specific notion:

Cradily w/ Barrier, Mirror Coat, Recover, ???.

Armaldo w/ Swords Dance, Rock Blast, ???, ???.

I prefer Cardily. It is very versatile in that it can be effective in several different roles depending on the moveset: Super-recoverer, Tank, Sweeper, and can even stand in for an electric type. It also can learn Rock Slide (egg move).

Well, the main reason I choose Armaldo was because of Rock Blast + Swords Dance + High Base ATK.
Rock Blast kicks major @$$ in that it can break Substitute and (as I recently discovered thanks to Venny...grr) can break through Destiny Bond.

They're both good. I just prefer Cradily and actually trained several with different movesets. The super-recoverer is wonderfully annoying. :D

I never liked ingrain since we can't swicth. Besides, recover+lefties+giga drain= super recovery. I use DT instead. With DT and an attack like toxic/SB this can be very effective. (Unfortunately, Lileep/Cradily don't learn Leech seed.)

Agreed about the Ingrain thing. Ingrain sucks unless you can also learn Baton Pass.
