Marik vs Pegasus: Part I (The Game Begins)

Yami Marik was tired of watched of waiting for Yugi and his friends to return from Noa's steel fortress. "Perhaps spreading some chaos would be a good idea," Marik smirked to himself. He attempted to get off the blimp when KaibaCorp security stopped him. "You aren't getting of this blimp!" the guards shouted, trying to retain Marik. Marik raised his Millennium Rod and a burst of energy hit the guards. When the blast cleared, the guards were on the floor unconscience and Marik strolled right out the door, but a loose pipe from the blast plummeted down, hitting Marik in the head. As Marik fell, his Millennium Rod began to glow and his mind began to shift.

Yami Marik awoke in a dark abyss, and he heard chanting in front of him. A laugh came from down the stone steps of the temple ands Marik felt connected to the stranger's voice. He walked in to see a group of huddled priests circling around a tall man with long white hair covering part of his face. "It couldn't be," Marik said mumbling to himself. The man moved his hair away from his face to reveal the Millennium Eye! Marik now realized his Rod had connected him to a memory of the past, the memory of Maxamillian Pegasus. Marik saw his chance to now take that Eye, for without it, Pegasus couldn't challenge the Pharaoh for someday, allowing Marik and his hunters some time to get to Duelist Kingdom. Suddenly, Pegasus turned to face Marik and the priests vanished!

"Trying to sneak up on me Marik boy," Pegasus stated calmly to the dark presence standing several yards behind him. "I guess your Rods' powers have unleashed upon you," said Pegasus, "or perhaps you can't control the Rod because it's not your Millennium Item!" Marik jumped forward in anger, "And perhaps that Eye would belong to me, if I ripped from your pathetic skull, Pegasus!" "No need to be vulgor Marik, there are kids reading this," Pegasus said in a collective tone ", but why not a duel to see if you do deserve the Rod and my God card." A Duel Disc appeared around Pegasus' wrist, then on Marik's. "let's duel Marik boy!" Pegasus shouted to his opponent ", and thanks to our dueling area, no Millennium Items!" Both the Rod and Pegasus' Millennium Eye vanished into the darkness.

"Allow me to start this duel Pegasus", Marik said glaring at his opponent, "I summon Dark Jeroid in defense mode (1500)". "Hmmmmmm, is that all you've got?" asked Pegasus, half heartedly to Marik. "Lets start with this, go Toon Alligator in defense mode as well (1500) and why not a facedown card for fun," Pegasus, announced, ending his turn. "A Toon monster?" asked Marik puzzled. "I'll set two cards facedown and Quick Leech in defense mode (1200)". "This is quite boring, afraid to attack?" asked Pegasus, disappointed at Marik's last move. "I'll sacrifice my cute little Toon monster for the Illusionist Faceless Mage in ...". "Defense mode?" Marik interrupted. "Well, only if you want it to be," replied Pegasus ", and why not another facedown card to boot". " It's time to end this, Pegasus, so i'll sacrifice Quick Leech for Helpoemer in attack mode (2000) and with this card, your destruction will begin!"

It looks pretty well written and there's some fairly good description. However, it could do with being slightly longer than four paragraphs.

Marik vs Pegasus: Part II (To Duel in Darkness)

"So Pegasus, how can even expect to get past my two monsters, Helpoemer's attack is 2000 and your monster cannot destroy my Dark Jeroid (1500)!" smirked Marik at Pegasus' monsters. "Yes, but since you don't want to attack, I guess it's my turn," quipped Pegasus at his opponent. "I'll play this nasty little card facedown," Pegasus giggled. "Perhaps I should destroy you before I leave," Marik replied back. "Oh, how mean, I'll summon Dark Rabbit in attack mode (1100) and now I activate one of my other facedown cards Dark Energy" Pegasus explained ", the dark power of Dark Energy powers up my Dark Rabbit by a dark double (2200)!" "Why must you repeat the same word?" asked Marik, extremely annoyed by Pegasus. "Well, you were babbling on about destruction, and speaking of which, my Rabbit's got some destruction in store for your Helpoemer, so go Rabbit Punch." Dark Rabbit revved up his fist and punched Helpoemer, which quickly exploded into pieces. Marik - 3800, Pegasus - 4000. Suddenly, a strip of Marik's stomach vanished. Pegasus explained what had happened "Well, Marik boy, I guess you learned that we're playing the game by your rules, each of our monsters are connected and so are our life points". "Ha! You fool", Marik stood from his futile position on the floor, "don't you even know the effect of Helpoemer, with it's ability you'll loose one card in your hand every turn!" "Well, Marik boy, it seems that you've forgotten my facedown card, behold Disappear!" Pegasus announced proudly "my trap card will remove Helpoemer from the game!" Helpoemer was sucked into a vortex of darkness as Marik looked on in anger.

"Pegasus, Helpoemer isn't the only card in my deck that can defeat you, so don't think this duel is over!" Marik laughed to himself. "For instance, I summon Juragedo in attack mode(1700) and use Black Pendant to increase it's attack power by 500 points (2200), now attack Juragedo!" Juragedo and Dark Rabbit destroyed one another in a blast of energy. Pegasus gabbed his arm in pain, while Marik's stomach began to buckle. Pegasus - 3500, Marik - 3800. "So Marik, it seems your threshold for pain is higher than I expected, but it appears I should really begin to play my best," Pegasus told Marik. "I'll set two card facedown and summon Red Archery Girl in attack mode (1400) as well as switch Illusionist Faceless Mage to attack mode (1200)," declared Pegasus ", and now it's time for some fun, I activate Toon World!" The famous Toon World story book fell from the sky and it popped open to reveal it's 3D toon town. "No, you won't," Marik blasted, "I activate Mask of the Accursed, which negates your Toon World and will force you to loose 500 life points every one of your turns!" "How dare you trap my Toon World!" Pegasus barked in anger, "even a person locked underground, shouldn't be violent to a cartoon, unless he wants those Toons to fight back!" Pegasus continued, "Marik boy, you've just gotten on my bad side, but I assure you, my Toon army will be unleashed and I will take Ra and bury him for eternity!"

"Poor fool, I guess your deck is worthless without Toon monsters," Marik smirked, "isn't that pathetic, I guess I should take care of your worthless attack monsters". "My deck has many surprises and I am sure your deck is the pathetic one," replied Pegasus. "forget this petty talk, I summon Granadora in attack mode (1900) and due to his effect, I gain 1000 life points". Marik - 4500, Pegasus - 3500. "Now, Granadora attack his Faceless Mage!" Marik ordered. Marik's Granadora stabbed it's two pincers into the Mage, which was promptly destroyed. Marik - 4500, Pegasus - 2500. Pegasus' entire upper body was nearly gone, only his hands and his head were left floating over two legs. "Soon, you will be consumed into darkness," Marik called in delight. Pegasus drew a card from his Duel Disc and lost the life points from Marik's mask. Marik - 4500, Pegasus - 2000. "Marik, it appears to me that my Toons will rise much sooner than you would expect, for I activate Magical Neutralizing Force, which negates the effect of your Mask of the Accursed and destroys it!" The famed storybook returned to the field and it was clear, Toon World had returned. "Now Marik boy, it appears the times have turned, because my Toons will send you into the darkness!"

it's four parts, so they will be kind of short, but otherwise i like them

Marik vs Pegasus: Part III (The Unstoppable God vs The Unstoppable Toons)

"It appears that my Toon World is in effect," Pegasus grinned, " so i'll activate one of my favorite trap cards, the Toon Mask, which turns one of my opponents monsters into a Toon, and i'll choose your Granadora and have him go into Toon World along with my Red Archery Girl!" Pegasus called upon his storybook and commanded, "Behold, I summon Toon Granadora (1900) and the Toon Mermaid (1400) in attack mode, and Granadora gives me 1000 life points now!" Marik - 4500, Pegasus - 3000. The two Toon monsters appeared on Pegasus' field, "but that's not all Marik boy, I'll activate Doppleganger which will copy your Dark Jeroid, and now meet another new Toon creature, Toon Jeroid (1200)!" Marik looked on at his two creatures which Pegasus had infected with Toon World, he was sickened. "Now attack Marik's Dark Jeroid my Toon Granadora!" Pegasus commanded as the Toon destroyed Dark Jeriod with a poison bubble. "Now my Toon monsters attack Marik directly!" Marik acted quick, "I activate my facedown magic card, Dark Wall of Air, to negate the attack!" Pegasus frowned, "Oh well, I guess it's your turn". Marik had to be much more careful against Pegasus then he had figured, he knew that the only way to win was his Egyptian God card, Ra.

Marik drew his card and announced, "Hahahahaha! It's time to die! I activate Grave Sacrifice, which will remove a card from each of our graveyards in order for tribute, and I choose to summon Guardian Sphinx in attack mode (1700), now attack the Toon Mermaid!" The Sphinx charged for the Mermaid, but the Mermaid's clam grabbed Sphinx's claw and shot it into the air. Then the Toon Mermaid raised her bow and shot an arrow direrctly in to the Sphinx, destroying it. "Marik, now how weak do you believe my Mermaid to be, I lost some life points, but you lost the monster!" Pegasus explained. Marik - 4500, Pegasus - 2800. "Now it's my turn, go my Toons, attack Marik!" The Mermaid and Toon Jeroid both attacked (Marik - 1700, Pegasus - 2800), but Marik was quick to act on the third attack. "I activate Demon Mirror of Nightmares, by discarding a card in my hand, it will negate your Toon's attack and you loose 1000 life points!" Pegasus - 1800, Marik - 1700. "Now, Pegasus I summon my Plasma Eel in defense mode (1200) and activate my facedown card, Machine Replicator, to summon two more from my deck in defense mode as well!" Pegasus looked at Marik's defenses, three Plasma Eels, all immune to damage, and a facedown card. Even though Pegasus had one trap card facedown, but it was useless as long as Marik's monsters couldn't be destroyed by his Toons. Pegasus new one card would help, for it had taken all his energy to admit hat his deck could use it, a card that he learned it's power about from Yugi.

Pegasus drew and smiled at his hand, then he summoned one of his favorite cards, "I sacrifice my Mermaid and Granadora for Manga Ryu Ran in attack mode (2200), it's your turn, Marik boy"."So Pegasus, you've given up, well you've got a reason to with this card," Marik announced, "first, I activate Rain of Hope to gain 1500 life points (Marik - 3200, Pegasus - 2800) and I activate my facedown trap card, Trade Your Left Arm, I'll discard my hand to grab one card from my deck, The Winged Dragon of Ra!" Marik pulled the card from his deck and put it into his hand. I'll sacrifice my three Plasma Eels to summon Ra, the most powerful card in Duel Monsters (1500)!" Pegasus laughed at his opponent, "Marik boy you fool, I created the god cards, that monster won't do anything to me". "Pegasus, Ra is stronger than you could imagine," Marik said, crossing his arms and recited Ra's chant. The huge gold sphere in front of Marik began to glow, and formed into The Winged Dragon of Ra. "I pay 2000 life points to destroy your pathetic Toon monsters!" Pegasus - 2800, Marik - 1200. Marik's God blasted through Pegasus' monsters and Pegasus was engulfed in flames. "Pegasus, you survived the Pharoah, but can you survive God himself!"

Marik vs Pegasus: Part IV (Winged Toon Dragon of Ra - Savior)

The fire began to clear and the immense amounts of smoke were settling away. Suddenly, Pegasus' figure was there, still standing after Ra's attack. "How can you survive, that was three attacks from Ra!" Marik screamed in shock, "what are you?" Pegasus stepped forward and moved his hair to one side, revealing an empty eye socket. "Your outer conscience Marik, and i'm hear to destroy any evil left in your heart!" Pegasus called. "I've paid for my crimes Marik, but yours are even worse, yours are for revenge and destruction," Pegasus continued, "you kidnapped a young boy in a time of need, your the monster, i'm simply the man without one eye". " Marik boy, your other conscience will finish this task, but for now it was his card that saved me from destruction, behold the card i discarded to negate your attack, Yugi mutoh's Kuriboh!" Marik was shocked by the power of such a little creature. " Marik boy, your God monster does have another power, one that you are unaware of," Pegasus said to Yami Marik, who was on the floor, amazed at what was left of Pegasus, which was even more than what Marik had left of him. "I've got a very powerul monster, I summon Mask of Darkness in defense mode (400), to grab a trap card in my graveyard, Toon Mask, which means...." The sky opened up and the immortal god Ra was sent into the sky, only to reappear on Pegasus' field. "Now Ra, you will open the new chaoter of Toon World, the era of the Gods! Rise my Winged Toon Dragon of Ra (1500) and to the field!" Ra's sphere of energy became a golden ball of energy, then Pegasus did his chant, "I see London, I see France, I see Ra's underpants!" The dragon looked like a dark shadow of a mythical beast, then popped in front of Pegasus as a mini cartoon pheonix. "Attack my Toon god, Starlight God Breath!"

Marik stood untouched by the Toon's blast and Toon Ra had been destroyed in a blast of fire. "Hahahahahaha, Pegasus, did you forget my turn had barely been over". Marik was now clear and inside of a cage? Then, a monster appeared behind Marik, the Lava Golem! "I activated Monster Reborn to summon him in my last turn, his immense attack power was able to destroy Ra!" Marik shreiked in glee. Pegasus - 1300, Marik 1200. Pegasus was down, but not out and he was still slightly ahead of Marik. "I'll use my magic card, Toon Revival to special summon Manga Ryu Ran in defense mode (2600)". The Lava Golem attacked Marik (Pegasus - 1300, Marik - 500, but Marik knew it was over, "Activate Magic Shard Excavation, discarding two cards so I can revive a magic card from my graveyard to my hand". Marik continued, "Now I activate my last facedown card Magic Execution which allows me to use that magic card, so go Monster Reborn, revive my God!" The symbol of Monster Reborn split in the sky to reveal the Winged Dragon of Ra. Marik decided that his Lava Golem was to much of a problem so he commanded, "I'll offer my Lava Golem so Ra can recieve it's attack strength (3000), now Ra attack Pegasus' last defense monster!" Manga Ryu Ran tried to dodge, but Ra's attack hit dead on. I set one card and end my turn. Ra began to return to Marik's graveyard, but Marik had a plan, "Go Rope of Life to special summon Ra again to my field in defense (0)!" Pegasus drew, and activated the one card that would end this duel, "I activate Polymerization on the two monsters in my hand, Relinquished and the Thousand Eyes Idol, and now reveal the Thousand Eyes Restrict!" "Thousand Eyes Restrict absorb Marik's Egyptian God monster (800)," Pegasus declared, "Thousand Eyes Restrict, use Ra's power to defeat Marik and send him back to where he belongs!"

The swirl of energy hit Marik at full force and he was thrown to the floor, covered in Ra's flames. Marik was screaming in pain from the heat, but when he tried to get up he couldn't. "Return to your place and learn your lesson, tell Yugi boy good luck for me," Pegasus told Marik. Marik woke up in Noa's fortress, and it took him a while to full understand where he was. He looked up to see Noa's security robots ready to blast him. Marik grabbed the Millenium Rod and blasted through them, forgetting his dream. When the finals began the Pharoah began to shuffle his and he told Yami, "I pray you shuffle my deck enough, maybe Ra will be at the bottom", and in some way, he meant it.
