Ah. Was it the good ol' curse-passing umbreon? That is such a fun strategy if you pass it to a fast sweeper with white herb. Aerodactyl is probably the best reciever, given his great selection of attacks and high speed.

I can't wait to see this team. I <3 that strategy, although I never seemed to get it off... Bulky waters/pseudo-hazers can really ruin it, so I recommend a powerful choice bander to lure out stuff like suicune and put a dent in them.

Huh, that's pretty stupid, passing -Speed to Aerodactyl.
I mean, a simple Starmie switch in would own him.
[Or even something slower. I don't know what's Aero's max speed -6Curses, so I can't exactly pass judgment]

If aerodactyl is holding a white herb, he'll recieve the +6 attack/defense and the white herb will get rid of all the -speed.

This specific one wasn't holding, or the thread starter just didn't find it worthy of mention.

I couldn't really know because this was over Netbattle. I'm still laying out my team plans. It should be done over the weekend.

Explosion Metagross/Gengar/Foretress anyone?

Never heard of this strategy, sounds really fun though. I would pass to something with already decent sp def though. Aerodactyl will get mauled with a special attack if the pokemon is faster.

what about passing to metagross? would clear body get rid of the -6 speed?

I believe Clear Body would remove EVERY stat change so (s)he wouldn't get the +Atk/Def.

Also, anybody with T-Bolt ruins Aero/Umb combo. I'd pass to someone else if I had a physical sweeper.

Not true, if it was Agiligross wouldn't work. THough I'm not sure how how cursepassing would affect meta. I may test it out later if I get the chance.

Tentacruel is a good special sweeper.

Curse-passing to Gross is the same as doing that to any Pokemon. It'll get the -Spd too.
