View Full Version : Possible filler in the GoF

We are all aware of the filler in Prisoner of Azkaban, more specifically the Ron/Hermione filler that was added to the Prisoner of Azkaban. Now if they were willing to over-exaggerate, or flat out fabricate the R/H in the Prisoner of Azkaban, who is to say that they will not exaggerate the kiss at the end of Goblet of Fire? They may change it from Hermione giving Harry a peck on the cheek to Hermione giving Harry a peck on the lips. You never know, or they may do the same thing when Hermione pecks Ron on the cheek before he noticed the "Weasely is our King" badges and what not. If this is the case, I think it will only serve to confuse or irritate people. Hopefully such filler or alterations are not made in that regard.

I hope to god that DOES NOT happen. The whole relationship thing is irritating. It's too obvious for Harry/Hermione so that's cancelled. JK can think of better events than that.
Too get to the point, they shouldn't exagerate the kiss at all.
dude you have a serious problem with underestimating JK and overestimating yourself. She is in complete control and can do whatever she likes. She can let the producers and directors of these films run rampant and film however they see fit because she knows it doesn't change a single thing in the books, which is what matters.
What TRULY matters is who Hermione ends up with at the end of Book 7, if with anyone at all. The movies mean nothing in the end. Why you think you've got it all worked out is beyond me, but there are two things that I am certain of: 1.) Harry and Hermione are just as possible as Ron and Hermione because evidence is shown for both and JK refuses to confirm either and 2.) the movies give almost NO precedence for us to take as fact. The books are what we should look to for evidence of these arguments.

Yeah, I'm totally behind RCG on this one. I do admit though, that movies can make us see a little truth, but it's hard to pick out the truth from the exaggerations. I'm for Harry/Hermione, but this movie pointed towards Ron/Hermione. One scene that really killed me, at Buckbeak's execution, after Buckbeak's head was "supposedly" cut off, Hermione then grabbed Ron instead of Harry... which is completely out of character for her. She always holds Harry's arm or grips Harry, not Ron. As I said before, I'm with RCG, the movies could tell us everything or tell us nothing, it's the books that matter.

It is not a mystery that the books matter in the end, however JK does not have complete control of the movies. She has even said herself that she does not mind if it does not follow the book to the letter as long as it remains faithful to the spirit of the book. The movies are going to have to follow the books one way or another, however an exaggeration of either kiss or ship would be a bit out of place.

Who, in all honesty, really cares. They're teens, most teen romances don't go onto serious relationships later on.

Who, in all honesty, really cares.Obviously those that comment on it or read the books/watch the movies. It is entertainment, and if one finds it entertaining that a certain theme is kept true to the original form of entertainment, in this case the book, then they will care.
Stick to the topic at hand. Unless you have something meaningful or relevant to offer, do not comment.

I, myself am more interested in Harry/Hermione but to be diplomatic, lets say she goes out with both of them (although I'm a Ginny/Harry shipper myself).

While a lot of slash-writers would be happy, unfortunantly I don't think the general reading population would approve.
