Pojo Server? Good idea or not?

A couple days ago I was on my computer trying to find a way to mod on Halo Online{There is a way to do it without buying mods but changing the programing} Thats not the point though. The point is I was looking at Netbattle and there was a action that said, and I quote " Run A Server"

That last couple days I was wondering If I should make one or not, and why would I. The thing is I don't get on alot{Well I do, but not enough to be a mod of a server} I then got the idea of a Pojo Server, which is alot of people on this form would like.

Thing is, I would like your guys' opinon to make it, like will you all use it or not. I haven't gone through and seen the details, but what if you can have more than one mod per a server, or making the server details, etc etc.

I leave you all to think now and decide what we as Pojo members could do.

I'm saying we don't have enough members playing Netbattle.

I doubt we even have 10 people here playing.

Even then, we have different timing zones,
not all of us play regularly, and of course,
we are not all on for an entire day.

So usually we'll have, what, 2 people online at the same time?

There's no need. We can, if needed, just go to one of the millions of empty servers there and call it our server,
and meet there regularly.
But there's no point.

If you wanted to host a server, you need:

An extra computer that can run 24/7
An internet service that provides good upload speed



Extra computer = easy. You can build a real cheap one that can easily run a netbattle server, and would be useful later down the road for school use.

Good upload speed = hard. A lot of internet providers give you good download speed, and that is it. Getting good upload speed is typically expensive. A T1 connection is going anywhere between $300-$500 dollars a month... Enjoy.



Edit: If you do have these things, I think that'd be pretty cool to host a server. If we see people in there, we'd know its probably someone from pojo. It'd be a good way to play people from Pojo without actually having to set it up on the forums before-hand. Although, like Near said, there's only like 10 of us who play.
