Because the mods were kind enough to delete my thread over a minor and apologized oversight rather than move it like I requested (I do so love this division of the OCG forum), I'll have to repost this deck and hope that it gets any replies at all now after enjoying the brief-lived healthy deck discussion in the original OCG forum.

*ponders* A few of your traps confuse me on what they are (I'm assuming Ceasefire Treaty is Ceasefire and not Forced Ceasefire, and Destruction Ring is Ring of Destruction and not Distruction Ring).

However is there some reason this deck lacks Pot of Hitler? MoF/Bullets/Buckshots aren't bad things to regain, especially if you leave a Bullet in the grave to assure a new one.

An Austin O'Brien themed deck without Fire Wall?

In the translations I became accustomed to (I won't cite them as absolute fact, but I tend to post the names I am used to most), "Destruction Ring" in the TCG was titled "Destructive Ring" while Ring of Destruction was "Destruction Ring." You're also correct about Ceasefire, lol. Avarice is a good idea I overlooked... I'll definitely find room for it!

In the previous thread (which was deleted despite my request to move it after I accidentally posted it in the wrong place), it was pointed out that while Fire Wall does fit the Cannons, it doesn't fit the rest of the Volcanic cards which are designed around being on the field for a long time to do their damage. Since Edge, Revolver, and Hammer sit on the field, Fire Wall doesn't accomplish as much as I would like. Since I'd like to balance being true to the character with being playable as the character, I took the advice to remove it in favor of Volcanic Charge and Secret Barrel for burn.

I do wish that some of the other fire cards form this set were used, but this does look solid. I can't think of anything to add in yet. i'll get back to you when the sun comes up hehe

I would rather vavor the deck around Fire Wall, which not only true to the real Austin O'briens Volcanic Burn deck, but seemingly better.

The deck is already loosly based around a card set full of mediocracy, why not use a card that is at the very least, not mediocre?

One Hammer, Two Edge, Two Revolver, couldent possibly kill the Fire Wall theme that much.

Or, just tech a single copy just for themes sake.

I'm Biased because of my un-conventional love for Fire Wall.

Nice deck, with the few fixes suggested above (Really Pot) it seems that I can't think of anything to fix,. While I would suggest Fire Wall for themes sake alone, it does weaken the deck and its power to reycle and mantain field advantage. So that is fine.

Lol. Tough break. I'm glad to see my recommendation stuck. I think Nightmare Steel Cage is fitting for the deck, ecspecially if O'Brien likes bad 80's action movies where the hero and main villian always end up in a cage match to the death. It wouldn't be right without that little gem of a cliche. Honestly, I'd use 3 Prominence Dragons, but like I said before, I don't get exactly how to fix a character deck. Is the goal to be pure in charcater or actual playability, or is it a mixture of both?

I do like the Bullet theme but wouldnt it make sence to have a bit more burn if you wanted it to be compettive?

things like spirtual art of fire allow you to flick doomed Volcanic Devil's and Volcanic Edge/Hammers at your opponents face.

if your using fire wall it combos nicely with Dimention fusion, this will let you block a few hits then counter swing after a buckshot clears the table for you. for the TCG im hoping the new sneek peek promo does what the grandmaster did for the warmasters which was counter the main weakness.

in this decks case the weakness is you need a cannon to fire your bullets so for this deck to be really compettive we need some sort of cannon tutor other wise this is just a fun deck we can play with.

ohh Ojama trio is great in this deck, if you buck shot with them out its extra damage if you connect a hit with Volcanic Devil with them out you most likly score half the opponents LP.

Congrats on another spot-on character deck! I really enjoy the artwork of the volcanic monsters! (they actually look more draconic that some of the dragons!) Your ratios of cannons, tridents, etc. looks great.

I do endorse a few Spiritual Art of Fire, as Blade of Darkness has. 3000 points of damage to the head is amazing. (if u use Volcanic Devil)

Maybe also look at Crazy Fire. It seems like a decent effect, and it being quickplay is certainly nice!

For a TCG build, what would you replace the Golden Chest of Sealing with? A more casual card I like is Salamandra.
