He's really more of a sidedeck card, since there are some decks that use no equipment at all. Zygore comboed with Karkas Deathhowl can wipe out a board full of equips very quickly in the mid to late game.

it depends on what deck your running. if you are running something like an ally heavy deck then zygore in the side. otherwise i would usually go with shattering blow due to its ability to destroy ANY equipment
