I was feeling silly so I decided to remake this for our new (and puzzingly somewhat unnecessary) sub-forum, partially to see if I could make it any better and partially because Kaworu's previous avatar/banner reminded me that people might actually recognize what the deck is representing now. Hopefully someone likes it, lol. Like before, all of the monsters are color-coded for convenient identification lol.
Seven duelists will participate. These duelists will employ the use of seven familiars from a Duel Monsters class called 'Normal' and cross cards with each other for the one and only 'Ritual Technique.' That is the war for the 'Advanced Ritual Technique'...

In responce to this subforum comment: This was to stop the OCG section from spilling out as much and to keep decks and news from fighting each other. Just like TCG Gossip and TCG decks are separated.
Now, to the deck, I'm avoiding the entire monster section due to its themeness that I don't exactly understand and don't wanna mess up. I want to suggest Hikari no Shōshū (Beckoning Light), simply as your Light monsters are possibly the focus of the deck (well, they are the most useful to return to your hand). You could turn a 2 card junk hand into either of your Ritual monsters. However I'm unsure as to how to edit the deck to add this card.

Thank you for the idea! Each colored monster in the deck is meant to be a close match to one of the 7 Servants in FSN, color-coded to hint at who is who lol. It hopefully makes more sense to anyone who's seen the anime, but it may be too weird... I did make a small change trading Angus for Blood Vorse. Genetic Warwolf is a better Berserker than a Gilgamesh...
I confess I'm puzzled by the new forum only because decks and news weren't fighting oneanother - on the contrary, the OCG section just flat out does not have as much to post and talk about as the TCG section. We had a handful of stickied or official topics because anything else would get closed then we also had decks to post there. It was semi-active, but a far cry from cluttered and combative. How many topics are actually going to get posted in the OCG section when discussion of OCG subjects are limited to a handful of official or indexed threads?
It just seems like together they were only the size of TCG Gossip as it was. Seperating them only took a semi-active section that usually had a nice page of active topics per day then slashed it into two small sections that will get maybe 3-4 topics active then 3/4th of a page of dead or inactive threads. It was necessary in the TCG section, but the OCG section doesn't have nearly as much traffic as that section does.

It was less of the 'OCG activity in the Japanese section' and more of the 'OCG activity in the TCG Gossip, TCG Advanced, TCG Strategy, and TCG Single Card' that caused this move.

I confess I don't entirely understand that then, since breaking the semi-active OCG forum into barely active divisions isn't going to stop people who post in other sections that have nothing to do with them. People will keep on posting things they read on DMComet, Ideal808, blogs, or from the OCG forum in other places; this does nothing to stop that whatsoever.
It just seemed unnecessary and harmful to the OCG section, especially if it's because of activity in the TCG sections that had nothing to do with it.

I prefer the OCG decks not in that forum. It was getting extremely cluttered and non-stickied info was getting swept out of sight. However, it'd be nice if the OCG deck forum was beaneath the TCG deck forums or beneath the OCG general discussion forum. It was really hard to find this thread, even when I knew what I was looking for.
Onto the deck. Fate Stay Night is one of the anime series I anticipated but decided to wait until it becomes a cheap thinpack. It looks too derivitive for my tastes, and I couldn't justify the $25 a disk for 7 - 8 disks with a massive wait over the course of a full year. However, with my Newtype USA subscription, maybe I can be of some use.
The Saber: Female - Supposedly the toughest.
Master: Male
I see a bit of her in Command Knight, honestly, but the color scheme is off.
The Archer: Male
Master: Female
It's a shame the Archer is male, as I've always loved Amazon(ess) Archer.
The Berserker: Male
Master: Female
This one's easy. 1 look at the Berserker's art, and I see Legendary Jujutsu Master or Dark Blade. Perhaps even Giant Orc, but I think Jujutsu master captures his expressions and body the best.
The Lancer: Male
I loathe androgynous pretty boys in anime/manga, ecspecially outside of Shojo. Honestly, I don't know what card would best fit this guy. The GK Spear Soldier is far too unappealing to play the part of pretty boy lancer.
The Rider: Female - Sexy
Gotta love sexy voluptuous maidens with full pink hair down to their feet and
masks that cover their eyes, rendering them blind.
The Caster: Female
She looks strikingly like the ladies gracing the art of Waboku, but she also has this Grave Keeper thing going on. Honestly, I think the best card that represents her artisticly is the uneditted OCG Forgiving Maiden. Saint of Silence might do the trick also, if you are aiming for artistic accuracy.
The Assassin: Male
Insert generic Samurai here.
I'm not sure if any of this info helps, but it's there if you need it. Kind of a shame there is no cliche YGO monster art to better represent each of these categories. I'd have rather received a sexy long haired rider chick in a mask over the countless unplayable and artisticly hideous oni demons and gag creatures.
