Wad is First Strike..Affinity and Banding?

First Strike: If there are creatures with First Strike involved in combat on a player's turn, there is an extra phase before the damage step called the "First Strike damage step," when First Strike creatures deal damage.

Affinity for X: ~this~ costs 1 less for each X you control. (X is replaced by different things, IE Plains, Artifacts, etc.)

Banding: Er...during combat, you may choose at least two creatures with banding you control. During this turn's combat, they act as if they are one creature, with shared abilities, and combined power/toughness.
