Boba Fett, Bounty Hunter 62
Gotal Fringer 9
Gotal Fringer 9
Gotal Fringer 9
Gotal Fringer 9
Gotal Fringer 9
Emperor Palpatine 40
Ewok 3
______________________________________________

The basic idea of the squad is to get the Gotals in position (they have Heavy Weapon) while Ewok takes one for the team. Boba Fett has a chance to disintegrate, but is mainly in there for the lead. Meanwhile, Palpy hides in the back room and continuasly activates, rerolling any non-20's. Eventually the Gotals will get some 20's, disintegrate the enemies, and lead you to victory. If all the Gotals die, Palpy can come out of hiding and use some force to assist Boba in killing the remaining figures. This is actually a bit risky in competetive play, but still worth a shot and is very fun.

Decaf,

You need to re-read Yoda. His force alter will not work on the Gothals, only on an enemy, and a figure must have a force point to borrow from Yoda, so no re-rolls. I assume you will use Light tutor on Boba, which will let him effectively re-roll once per turn using Yoda's points. Not sure if Yoda is adding enough synergy to make him worthwile. Perhaps Aurra and Boba might work better, and look to spend the extra on R-2 and Theepio, if you want them (or 15 points of something else, a med droid and an uggie would work too, or a swarm of 4 ewoks and an uggie to force him to shoot at garbage to protect boba and Aurra).

you also cannot force tutor Boba as only rebels can be tutored. Yod ais totally wasted in this squad.

To be honest, I think this would fail miserabely (did I spell that right?) in a black and blue squad. Gotals are too fragile, with only 10hp, and Palpy would be useless once he ran out of force points. Even if he had some, he couldn't do anything against Thrawn's force bubble. However Boba is solid, but he's just not enough to make your team win. Sorry, but I don't think stands a chance in competitive play, btu it migth be fun to try in leisure play.....

Well, that is true. I did say that it was too risky in competetive play but might be fun in friendly play..

Good catch on the Rebel only for light tudor, Sithdragon. I haven't actually played with mine, so I wasn't reading into it quite enough.

I have heard it being used to make Chewbacca, RH a force user, though... so I guess it makes sense.

Yeah the two most popular uses are for chewie and for wedge.....sometimes for either R2 or 3PO.

Is that legal? (obligatory Nute Gungray quote)

Seriously, is it allowed to give an effect like Light Tudor to a droid? Not sure if it has been addressed in the Jedi Counseling, but I think that's borderline power-gaming.

Additional Comment:
Just poured over all the rules... can't find any mention of anything that would disallow someone to give a force point to the droids... but still think it's cheeseball. ;)

I could just imagine the Jedi Counseling entry:

Q: My opponent keeps using Yoda of Dagobah's Light tudor skill to give R2-D2 a force point, and he beats me every time. Is it legal for him to do this, since R2 is a droid and does not have midiclorians?

A: Yes, this is perfectly legal. Light tudor states "Rebel allies", and R2-D2 is an ally of Yoda. Just imagine it as the living force around R2-D2 granting him the protection it normally grants someone that is one with the force.

lol... ok, enough about Yoda of Dagobah. How did we get from Disintegration to this? =)

Look, can you guys talk about that in a different thread?
