How can you tell weather these are from packs or starter decks?

Well, when Curse of the Sand first came out. You could tell the difference between them because the one from the set would be First Edition, and the Starter version was not.

Since they've released Unlimited Curse of the Sand, There is no way to tell. It's not like the Pack version is worth anything more than the Starter. Unless the Pack version is First Edition, but even then.

ALSO, do 1st edition SRs and unlimited SRs look differently? Cause on this site, 1st edition looks different:

Aside from the little "1st Edition" note on the bottom of the card, there is no difference between Unlimited and First Edition.

Ideal808 posts pictures of cards in upcoming sets before they are actually released. That 1st Edition Orochimaru is one of those pictures. Ideal808 gets the pictures from www.bandaicg.com/naruto/cardlists.php

The pictures of Super Rares and Rares do not have the gold lettering or foil on the picture. It's a basic image of the card.
