Why is Anko a Super?

I just found myself asking that today. Why is she a super?

Pros
1. practically identical injured stats to healthy
2. Has some mental
3. water chakra conservation

I use to run two of her in my water/lightning build, but I almost never used her effect. Why? Becuase it isn't all that easy to. What lightning chakra will be there by turn three?
There aren't many good early drop lightning missions that I know of, except maybe Ichiraku Noodle Shop, which really only qualifies as decent. I suppose maybe you could play a kunai to get in lightning, but c'mon. The only chakra I have early is water, plain and simple. Maybe if she could use vortex she could be good, but she can't. All she can do is save one or two chakra for vortex. Plus, she boasts little storyline sigificance in the series. So why, after all these reasons is she a super?

idk she one of the cards that they made a sp for the heck of it i guess
and legacy of the hero is a good lighting mission turn 3
but anko i could she myself using her but just for the hell of it

She's a good idea if you happen to use cards such as Hidden Mist Jutsu or Water Prison Jutsu. That and she does help conserve Water Chakra for the bigger cards.

Why is she a Super Rare? Her effect is better than that of most Rares, but not quite up there with most Super Rares. Since they don't have a "middle" rarity between the two, they just made her a Super Rare.

I think Anko is pretty awesome as SR. She isn't fantastic like Haku, but her stats I think are enough of a push to make a SR. I use her a lot in my lightning deck and she does well late game .

Lion's Barrage is a Super because they don't want to have only Ninja's be Super Rares. I really don't see any other amazing Jutsu's in Curse of the Sand either.

....Are you serious? She happens to be a good card. The point of her effect is to keep your opponent guessing. if you are playing a game and you see your opponent randomly charge 2 water, you could basical assume he has a water prison or a twin snakes in his hand, right? with Anko if you charge two lightning it could be one of manythings: hidden mist twinsnakes water prison paperbomb, multi shadowclone, senbon, or even striking shadow snake. It puts you in a good position and usualy makes it so in a lightning water deck you can always play a jutsu with her (except for vortex).

I never said she wasn't a good card. I was just confused to why she was a SR. Heck, Baki was a rare, but he met the SR qualifications. Bandai and many card gaming companies never cease to confuse me with their rarity placings.

And u would seriously charge two lightning to confuse your opponent just to use anko's effect? Either way, once you randomly charge chakra, your opponent knows your gonna play a jutsu. And they see Anko out. Any perceptive player would catch on to that. Besides, I would rather use those 2 lightning cards 4 something else. Just my opinion. Well, I suppose it does depend on the situation though.

I remember one of the bandai reps. who is in charge of the rarity state that he doesn't want all cards that are "good" to be in the Super Rare category of rarity. There are those players that just play to play and if all of the cards they needed to make a deck were Super Rare, then it would be very expensive for them to make a competitive deck. Baki is a rare, so he's inexpensive for the casual player, the same goes with Zabuza DoCV, he definately can fit under Super Rare category, but you see him in starter decks, so everyone can have him. If all cards were good cards, then their secondary market value would go up, and all Super's would be like the Fourth, Kakashi, and Haku. That's why Anko is a Super Rare to mix it up.

Anko obviously has the option of getting to be a super rare, thus that is why she got to be a super rare. Duh..

That and she's Lightning's only Turn 3, and in Lightning Water, her and Haku are the only reasonable choices. Period.


And if she was easy to get, her sex appeal would get Soccer Mom's pissed.

In a lighting build where you run Disaster, Anko is very good. Her awesome injured stats make her a great target for it. Plus, she has a mental, is twin snake able, and has a nifty effect when you get to use it. Oh, and she is the only three drop lighting worth playing. Oh, and Anko is a SR because she is sexy duh!:p

It's a great Lightning Ninja, that has an awesome effect (especially if you run Lightning/Water). In my opinion there is only one other Lightning that is great late in a game and that is the Fourth Hokage.

I agree with Zero on this one. He makes a great point in keeping your opponent guessing. I think she should be a SR because shes a godess to Lightning/Water decks, and can give you a very easy time playing certain jutsu cards while saving up chakra for more expensive jutsu cards that she cant use.
