ok, to start:
my family and i (little bro included) left at around 6:15 in the morning, and drove to Roanoke.
we got their around 10:17 or so, and i got to borrow two jack in the boxes for the tourney from #4 in the worl (forgot his name- apparently #s 1,2, and 4 in the world showed up. my luck eh?) and (i think) 18 showed.
any way, onto...
round one:
Me vs 'Justin' (a teen)
InSaNe AgGro (me) vs ragedrake/temple net-band (justin)
got off good, but then i lost allot of init rolls, won only three rounds before the ties/loses came. if i had won init on turn 8 or so, i could have pay-backed his noble with my ego and grand board position.
i lost init, and it all went down-hill.

Round two:
Me vs. some older-guy with a 11-year old playing..
my band vs Kitsune beats
lost horribley, due to bad moves on my part.

Round three:
Me vs the dudes kid T_T
Insane vs some-crap-no-work-together-band
Killed the kid easy, but he was annoying. he kept haveing to ask what things did/if he could do this and that/didnt know how to play.
6-3 (only because of gambit)
Round four:
Me vs 18-20 year-old red-head (he was cool :) )
Insane vs budget-drake w/an arch
I won the first 4 turns after the first (since you cant win that :p), then he got a noble and axe out after placeing two HBTs.became VERY close.i played baxar, got ego back from grave to 1 cell, and moved to 3-point where my DHC was. as was his noble/axe. if i kill them, i win. i rolled about 10 die, got two blades. crit 10 useing ego's ability (man i love that thing), kill axe. i dont have enough to dis the noble, so i lose by one cp...
5-6 (great game)

Me vs this very helpful/nice guy
Insane vs mono-fear
ok, i had NEVER played mono fear before, and it moved WAY faster than i had expected. i made TONS of mistakes.
0-6 (guy couldnt have been nicer)
Round 6:
guy i was to play dropped, so i won.
Well, i had to wait for about an hour and a half untill i could claim my prize, got a kit and another sprite from my booster, came in 15th place with 6 points (the same as about 4/5 other people).
i bought a few more boosters and the guy i played in round 5 gave me his because he allready had every thing from it (gargoyle was rare- its replaced my baxar now), he gave it to me (i wanted to give it back, but he wanted me to have it. i hope i meet him at another tourney :-) )
well, made allot of friends, had a good time, ate some pizza, traded, and got alot more to add to my list (see trade thread). and i got to try out the jacks- i love them with my arch.it was fun, even if i didnt meet anyone who posts online (allthough one lady told me she lurks and recognized me by my band- she said she had proxided it and lost to it. i wish i had played her, lol (JK- she had a good drake band)).
