Unless they are running a Kakashi deck, in which Chidori and Lightning Blade will be included.

I would just run one of each Lightning Blade, but the one from Curse of the Sand is slightly better due to the discard effect and dealing 1 damage.
I think that either Lightning Blade will still see play, as Chidori's going to replace Fire Style: Dragon Flame Jutsu since the effect is a whole lot better.

I think there is a better chance of running DFJ than LB (POTH) cause both Kakashi and Sasuke can use DFJ and Chidori.

Maybe I'm wrong, but, I hardly ever notice top decks that use any jutsus to pump up their characters. The one that did do it, was The first place winner of GenCon SoCal http://www.bandaicg.com/naruto/showthread.php?t=14785
And even then, he only ran one. I dunno, with quite a bit of mental out there, it's tough to want to use up a slot with something that just boosts combat. Just an opinion though, I could be wrong :(

Lighting blade is so so, is it good? sure it is, but theres plenty of better jutsus. Also hint hint, +7 doesnt mean anything is you destroy the user of that jutsu. ye....

you could say that about any jutsu...lol

The Path Lightning Blade is only good in one situation, when you have Kakashi [Early Settlement] in play and you need to win the battle. Aside from that, the other Lighting Blade is a better choice.
Once Chidori comes out, Both previous Lightning Blades will be useless.

Unless the player is using a deck with power up and destruction. In which case, Lightning blade may be included.
But yes, compared to Chidori and Dragon Flame Jutsu, LB is redundant.

will sasuke be allowed to use lightning blade since its the same as chidori?

no i dont think so.. i played test lightning blade and it worked pretty well much better than the new one

Actually, Lightning Blade is not exactly the same as Chidori. LB requires a lot more chakra an control. It is actually a S-ranked Jutsu while Chidori is an A-ranked jutsu.
Of course, this is all to my knowledge.

i thought chidori was the real name for lightning blade and kakashi just made up the name lightning blade when he used it to cut through a bolt of lightning (who knows why anyone would want to cut lightning for fun ...)

Fire | 1 is insane for +7/+0. And since pretty much every deck runs kakashi, the requirement isn't really that strict. It's almost a gaurenteed complete defeat. i dig it. i want one. why must it be SR.

But wouldn't Chidori be better...give up +2 and put in 1 more Fire for a kill all team effect??

Oh Chidori is infinitely better, but it hasn't been released yet so I'm saying as of right now It's amazing.

Chidori is better. If you beat the team, you kill the head and injure both support (on a 3 man team of course). If Chidori gives you +5 over the opponent team's strength, then you kill THE ENTIRE TEAM.

As of now, the Starter Lightning Blade is a better choice than the SR. Sure, +7 is good..But i'd rather kill off or atleast injure an opponents Ninja rather than just win the battle.
Zabuza with Kakashi on his team + Lightning Blade (starter) = instant kill on any ninja. Why would you use this over Fireball Jutsu (In this case)? I have no idea..
Chidori > Lightning Blade (Common) > Lightning Blade (Super).

Well, not really cause if you + 7 with Kakashi it's almost sure that you win the battle so that means you injure atleast 1 Ninja and if you have +5 over the team, you discard the Head Ninja AND injure the rest of the team...+ Lightning Blade (PTH) requires Fire|1 which is better then Fire|Fire.

You cant really run a "Kakashi" deck. Seeing how he's played in almost every deck type out there..Just because your useing 3 Kakashi in your deck doesn't make it a "Kakashi" deck.
