"R" is already being serialized in France and some other European countries. Many believed it would be just skipped over when the GX manga appeared in Jump over here in the U.S., but with the original Yu-Gi-Oh! manga quickly coming to a close and an empty spot in the magazine opening because of that, its very possible "R" may fill it.

Will Jump run two Yu-Gi-Oh! series at once though?

Only time will tell.

Well, they're probably a little hesitant to do 'R' after learning how difficult to edit YGO's thought balloons are. I can't wait for an English R though, it's being a little overshadowed in the fan translation department by the GX manga lately.

And I'll add that unlike the French YGO manga (which is unedited and highly faithful to the original), their version of R is actually quite shoddy, from what I've heard.

I wonder whether the French YGO manga used their versions of the Viz Box O' Doom. If they didn't, that sure would make Viz look bad.

they're currently running GX and DM so I don't see why they can't run GX and R.

how many more chapters of millenium world are left, there has to be the end of the bakura/yugi duel, then the flight (of dragons....in america) the wierd battles with the skeleton crew, the blue eyes ultimate dragon, exodia, near death experiences, then another , and another, and then atem says his name and they all go home and sleep. then it becomes the atem/yugi duel, and that would be around the next half of the year.

so we have a while, if anyone can figure out how many chapters are left, we can predict the date they will change.

The manga battle with Zork is very different to the anime version. Zork doesn't trot around through Egypt like Zork-zilla, he just stays in one place. There's no Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon either, or Master of Dragon Knight. And since they're not in Egypt in the manga Memory World, they still have to take the plane to Egypt for the Ceremonial Duel.

All in all...there's not too far to go.

i prefer r even though i have not read r, that gives you insight of how much appreciation i give to that spin-off.

i guess there should be one more month for the end of the duel, then exodia appears the month after, then the name, and finally the end.

and what happened to honda? i don't notice him and as far as i read, he wasn't possessed in this

I would love to have yugioh R released as a manga. If they can do the yugioh movie as a stand alone manga then they can do it for this.

(All this talk about Zorc remeinded me of ZORC & PALS from yugioh the abridge series)

Yugioh R has some of the best dueling moments I have ever seen (and I not lying) I tottaly hope it comes to the US because then I can get a tad more info in some of the plot and the duels (since the site I looking at the scans for Yugioh R is like 55% RAW japanese and the other % is english, no I mean theirs 2 differnt sets of the same EP as in 1 is japense the other is USA not all the time though)
