I've glanced around a bit and haven't seen anything on this. I used the [img] tags on an image that's uploaded in JPG format to the internet in my sig and all that shows up is a link to the image instead of the image itself.

Make sure it's like this http://www.

Are you doing something different than that?

I changed it with the proper code and it still shows up as a link. I'm doing URL.

Well ur linking to the webpage that hosted it, not the image,

put this if u want it in your sig.

[IMG]http://img249.imageshack.us/img249/6961/nemesisii0.jpg[./IMG]

except in the last IMG tag take out the period.
Though the pic is over the banner limits...

you can probably just copy and paste the image into your sig, correct me if I'm wrong.

If I am, [img]http://img249.imageshack.us/my.php?image=nemesisii0.jpg[./img]
and just take mr. period out.

Okay, I got it working now. The size of the image is 300x137 and 17kb; is that too large? I know the limit is 500x100, but I don't know how that's applied - since I'm under overall am I okay?

Actually it's 187. And I'm pretty sure it's not legal, just because you have 300 instead of 500.
They don't like images who stretch the page I believe, so even if yours were
50x550, they'd get really pissed.

bring it down to about 120 in height... that should work.

Ok I sized it down:

If you want it in your sig instead of the other ones just put [IMG] Tags around it.
