It's from Curse of the Sand and is an Uncommon card. He is pretty sweet.

Suien-132 has a pretty nasty effect of giving him a +2/+2 for the turn. What I would do is attack with him, block the next turn if you can and then use The End of the Demon-052 on him the next turn.

And yeah, plain ol' Suien is his name.

Well, I guess the full name would be [Easy Power] Suien. Lives up to his name, too.

3 Suien? I dont think he's worth running 3 of..

Here's his stats:

Suien
Water Ninja
Rogue Ninja (Jonin)
Turn 4, No hand cost
5/1 Healthy, 3/1 Injured
Ability [Easy Power]: "You can discard 1 of your Chakras to give this Ninja
+2/+2 during the turn. Then, Place a Ninja Blade coin symbolizing -1/-1 on this Ninja at the end of the turn."

So as you can see, he's a mighty good 4 drop Ninja. So, once your done useing his effect, you can pitch him to The End of the Demon. Very nasty indeed.

I would only run two at the most. And like the others said, he's perfect for End of the Demon.

Yeah, he is good with End of the Demon but if you don't have any (since it's a super rare) you can use him with Twin Snake Sacrifice Jutsu.

I prefer 2 Suien and 1 Kurenai myself but I don't think it would be bad to play 3.

I've long since taken Kurenai out of my F/U deck. Suien is the new 4 drop for those decks. 5, potentially 7 power on turn 4 by a single Ninja is more important than 3 support in my book. Many other Ninja out there have 3 Support, Kurenai is replaceable. ;)

It's funny how not too many of you feel that three Suien is worth playing when Ari who is one of the best players in the U.S. currently plays three. lol, he has taken second at two of the three major events we have had so far. I would say by his play record, that Suien works well in threes.

3 Suien is just fine, if you have room for him in your deck.

I'm currently useing 3 and I've definately won more games than i've lost ;)

Ofcourse it also depends on your play style. Just because a top player runs them in three's doesn't necissarily mean that it's best to run him in three's. That's Ari's play style, he plays much more aggressive than others do. If your a control type player, 3 Suien wouldn't be a smart choice since most "control" type decks useually require a bit of Chakra to "control" the game ;).
