Check out the regional decks, the gorebelly decks are pretty sweet.

Yeah, the Gorebelly decks are brutal. I'm quite surprised that only one Hunter is in top 8 and none of the Paladins made it.

Man GenCon has been a blast so far. I've been spanked pretty hard by Onyxia (only got in 8 damage to stage one by the time my team was wiped) and been on the receiving end of a cool Gorebelly beatdown.
I didnt notice til yesterday that I was in the photo blog coverage, I am the tall guy in the "Heroes arrive for some Azerothian Adventures".
I still cant believe that I missed out on an awesome game mat cuz I didnt want to do the Dream Machine tournament.

Bummer.
Onyxia seems like a huge problem to even geta little damege on, didn't one team beat it though?

Just got done reading up on the coverage, seems only one team of three Paladins were able to use Cruel Hand of Timmy to keep her resources down and thier own heal/protect abilities to protect themselves so they were still at full life when they took her down.
I am going to have my local shop do an Onyxia event, where I am controling the dragon and others can enter for prizes, still have to work out the details on prizes but with the number of people playing and how thier decks currently look I should be able to take on 4-5 players and still make it a worthy battle.

Thats' an excellent strategy i never thought of taking away resources.

From what I heard, the one team that won (out of 112), kept healing Onyxia to keep her at Stage 1 while they killed off resources, then set up for one giant kill turn. Good strategy, but easy to disrupt with Whelps.

All three of the wow events seemed to have a good diversity of decks i'm definately looking forward to the next few tournies.
