Finisher? Maybe in the later game, otherwise all of you cards need to be discard baits and are horrible topdecks.

However, there is no "best" hero, although if you asked the favourite hero, then it would be fine.

They are all indeed awesome, ive played Ta'Zo and Warrax since you could proxy them online (more then a month) and have just gotten cards today at a Prerelease tournament (Aus got it on the 4th/5th).

I have one of each hero (Only missing Litori Frostburn), and plan on playing them all.

Out of a 8 man tournament today though I won all 4 rounds with an updated Elendril Deck, and thats 4 out of now 7 games I have played with real cards.

Ill be testing them all when I have freetime.

I'll change the thread title to "Which hero in the first expansion is your favorite?", as that makes more sense (and, as Yami_Michael pointed out, there is no "best" hero, as it's mostly matter of opinion and preference).

Anyway, I haven't had enough hands-on experience with all the heroes yet to give a good answer. But, so far, I'm quite partial to Elendril, even though I don't have the cards to make a suitable Hunter deck at this point.

Hehe, I like that change. :)

As I mentioned before, I had played Elendril in the sealed event and as it was the actual starter (Sealed was Starter + 2 boosters), I had many cards to build off. I was able to get more ravenous bites, arcane shots and a weapon called Wraith Scythe which coupled with the Bow is very fun.

I dont have everything I need for the deck (Only 4 hunter pets!), but I can use other allies and classless abilities for now.

My younger brother (8) also played the sealed today, and he also used Omedeus and only lost in the second round losing to a friend I brought along who came second.

I havent actually seen my brother play it, but he wants to use polymorph to beat me so I need to change it to an oversized Ta'Zo.

Better go do that now...

I dont have enough pally abilities to use Gracuus yet. I only seem to have... 1x Holy Shield, 1x Sacred Duty and 1x Hammer of Justice.

Ill play it when I get a starter of it or just the missing cards in it I need.

I havent played against or with a Warlock today, but I only have my brother (which count as my cards) and a friend to play against for now so I cant play against it for a while unless I proxy a bunch.

So far I have been against...

Moonshadow (Night Elf Druid)
Timmo Shadestep (Gnome Rogue).
Quite sure it was Warrax as I remember a rend (Dwarf Warrior)
Warrax (Dwarf Warrior) - Friend

And a few more games at home against Warrax with Elendril.

I said before I was making mage the secondary, but I didnt have enough abilities so i went Omedus the Punisher instead. I found out I have 4 of both Shadow Word: Pain and Power Word: Fortitude.

Oh, yes, I know all too well the goodness that is Graccus. I played a few games against a friend (my Ta'zo against his Graccus), and got soundly beaten each game (healing + damage FTW!).

On that note, I'm probably going to aim for something other than a Mage deck, once I've got the cards. :p

I just built my first pass at a Grassuc deck this weekend, and I'm working on Kayleitha next. I don't really have a favorite yet, I want to play a little with all of them first, although Elindril with Ancient Bone Bow is pretty nice.

Quick question, what weapons do you use most with graccus?

Ta'Zo is great fun, but you need to know how to balance the damage, card drawing, and even stall (Frostbolt/Nova).

Im not sure what I want to play most, they are all good.

Well, I still don't have much, so I'm using two Annihilators, the Flame trident looking guy, Thrash Blade, and I can't remember the other one. I've got two Hammer of Justice I might try out though.

I dont have much either, not many do unless they have the money to just splurge on a couple of boxes and starters, or even cases.

I did however go through all the cards, and found a few more paladin abilities.

I knew I had 1x Holy Shield, 1x Sacred Duty and 1x Hammer of Justice, but I also found anoth Sacred Duty and a Holy Light.

Still need a heap more though, but thats to be expected at this stage.
