I am glad I finally got Netbattle! I have been using this team for a couple of matched and won 2 out of 6 games{one of the games a guy used 2 Groudons!} So here they are.

Espeon, modest nature, synchronize(he knows that, right?)
Item: lum berry
Evs: 4 Hp, 252 Speed, 252 sp. atk
Moves:
calm mind/psychic/substitute/baton pass

Slaking, Adamant
Item: Choice Band
Evs:108 Hp 252 Attack 148 Speed
Moves:
Hyper Beam

i personally hate slaking, i could easily kill it with one hit from metagross. Try to maybe get in some metagross counters, like an earthquake or something... and take out that choice band, put in lefties. I'd do maybe EQ/Shadow Ball/Return/HP:Flying(or Aerial Ace)... but that's me, and i have no experience with Slaking.

Shuckle, Calm
Item:leftovers
Evs: 4 Attack 252 Defense 252 Sp.Defense
Moves:
Rest
Encore
Toxic
Wrap

I've seen some variants use sandstorm or protect or endure instead of encore-choose what works best. As for your nature... I don't know what that nature does, but anything that does +Def/Sp. Def -Sp. Atk/Spd is plenty good. 252def, 252sp. def, 4 HP.

Aerodactyl, Jolly
Item:Leftovers
Evs: 252 Hp 4 Attack 252 Speed
Moves:
Fly
Protect
Rock Slide
Subsitute

Aerodactyl, Jolly, Rock Head
Choice Band
252 Spd, 252 Atk, 4 HP/Sp. Def
Rock Slide/Double-Edge/Earthquake/HP: Flying

or...

Pressure
Rock Slide/Aerial Ace/Earthquake/HP:Ghost

the Staller Aerodactyl probably works decently but it totally slaughters his full potential. use an Adamant nature instead of Jolly if you want to-

Hariyama, Adamant
Item: Scope Lens
Evs: 208 Attack 153 Defense 149 Sp.Defense
Moves:
Focus Punch
Hidden Power{Ice}
Rock Slide
Subsitute

Why use HP: Ice? especially with your nature-Adamant. I'd suggest HP: Flying or Aerial Ace... or using a Blaziken or something. Hariyama's not that fast in my experience, and give him leftovers. You might want to consider HP evs as well-no point in substitutes on a good focus puncher unless they can withstand at least one attack. If it's a subpuncher you want, if that's all you really want, I'd use Breloom(i've used him and he works fine for me-other people have different perspectives sometimes...). Breloom @ Leftovers, Adamant, 252 atk/spd, 4 hp, Focus Punch/Spore/Leech Seed/(physical filler move... Hidden Power's pretty good, but it depends on what power you give it.)

Swampert, Brave
Item: Softsand
Evs: 236 Hp 176 Attack 96 Sp.Def
Moves:
Double Edge
Earthquake
Ice Beam
Mirror Coat

hhmmm... + Atk/Def - Spd nature... give a lot of attack evs, a lot of defense evs, some special attack evs... try Earthquake/Curse/Return/(Hydro Pump/Surf/Ice Beam/HP: Fire[for grass types that will totally slaughter Swampert.]). Cursepert's pretty destructive after a few curses... and he's slow as hell, so losing speed does not matter. PLEASE put leftovers on this guy-NEVER use stat boosting items, they're cheap and they barely do any more damage. Let's say you do 100 damage with Earthquake-with softsand, you'll do 110 damage. Wow. Now lets say you have lefties-you get back HP every turn. I'd rather have the HP.

Some of these pokemon may seem like odd choices, here is why I chose each and everyone.

Espeon- A great batoon Paser, just use Sub and Curse a couple of times then pass to Slaking, Swampert, or Haryiama for the kill.

Slaking-One of the games I won came from him knocking out 5 pokemon by himself before getting killed. He works very nicely.

Shuckle-I might Batoon Pass him from Espeon, but it depends. Shuckle's main use is to Toxic them then stall. In my match agiasnt 2 Groudon he took out the two.

Aerodactly-Mainly to waste them away with Pressue. Using fly makes them waste 4 PP. Combo up Sub then Fly/Protect makes them struggle. Rock Slide is for other Flyers.

Haryiama-What I think the best Sub-Puncher is out there, he can take out loads of pokemon once subed from Espeon.

Swampert- Mainly to take out Pyshical Sweepers using his Mirror Coat, he does make a great Pyshical attacker. *note* Mirror Coat ONLY works on SPECIAL attacks, not physical attacks. *note*

Any help at is a apperaciated.

Very odd team idea-it should be fun to play around with. Try sticking to the pokemon's strengths (like physical moves for hariyama instead of having HP: Ice there as well) and stuff, and you should do fine. Just test and test and test-I'm testing a lot right now as well, I just made up 4 teams that I'm trying to work together to make one new team.

Espeon? Espeon? A GREAT Baton Passer?
To pass CURSE?
Do the one the above guy recommended if you wanna Baton Pass.

Want a GOOD baton passer?
Ninjask of course.

Slaking - Reapsoul: There's no reason to use Return over Hyper Beam on Slaking.

Give him other moves in case-of..

Hariyama - I hate Focus Punch randomly thrown on Pokemons, along with sub.[seriously those subs will die on the same turn you use them]
HP Ice?
Yuck.

Perhaps:
Item - Leftovers/Chesto Berry
Belly Drum
Reversal
Earthquake
Rock Slide/Rest

OR
Item - Chesto Berry
Bulk Up
Cross Chop
Earthquake
Rest

He's too pathetic to make these things work, but whatever, it's all in theory, after all.

Aerodactyle should be used as a Sweeper - where he belongs.
That choice bander, quite the normal Aero, is a good choice.
PP wasting is a waste.. of time.

Swampert:
Curse
Earthquake
Rock Slide
Brick Break/Rest/Mirror Coat [if possible at Netbattle, to have BOTH Mirror AND Curse]

Hariyama is FAR from one of the best Sub Puncher out there.
I'm sorry, but stats-wise Machamp beats him,
Breloom puts him to shame, etc.

I was actually thinking about using NInjask, Ya I switched to it now, I will post in a sec.

I also switched out Shuckle of Tyranitar as another Focus Puncher.

Also, I like the idea for Haryiama using that Cross Chop set, I'll change it to that.

Near

Ninjask:
Swords Dance
Substitute
Silver Wind
Baton Pass

Basicaly keep on Subing and they'll keep on breaking, and Speed Boost will raise your speed.
If there's an opening you can use Swords Dance.

Silver wind's more of a filler, but the once-in-a thousand-battles all stats boost can be nice.

Hariyama -
You CAN use Rock Slide if you fear flyings.
Oh yeah, but they are too fast for you, and will 1hit you unless you have sub.
Too bad.

You can't switch Slaking on his traunt turn if you use Hyper Beam.. Gengar has his dirty way with that set..

Try:

Slaking @ Choice Band
Adamant
Traunt
252 Atk / 4 HP / 252 Spd
- Return / Double-Edge
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Punch
- Earthquake

People don't use Item Clause, so you don't have to..

Leftovers on Everything that uses them (ie: Everything but Slaking and Aero). Aero needs Liechi if it's using Substitute.

Tyraintar,Adamant
Iten: Kings Rock
Evs:Hp 252 Attack 252 6 Sp.Def
Moves:
Aerial Ace
Focus Punch
Rock Slide
Subsitute

Try one of the standard sets, since they work and this one sadly doesn't.

http://www.smogon.com for any of your problems with movesets.. All of their movesets work exactly as they explain them, and won't be vulnerable to much other than what they say.

I know that it's nice to be different with your movesets, but try to wait until you get used to the Netbattle environment before you get creative. Just a suggestion.

Thank you Clown Master for pointing out my point with Return over Hyper Beam. Hyper Beam doesn't allow you to retreat, which can be vital for a pokemon that can only attack once every other turn. Return still gets a nice STAB.

Thanks , I know about Smogon, that is how I am on Netbattle now.

So Return works better than Hyper Beam? I never knew that, also how do you check to see how much your pokemon likes you?

Also, srry about leaving the game Clown Master, I was disconnected from the server, I will try again later.

Finally, If anyone thinks I should change a pokemon, tell me! Though I don't want ant Special Sweppers as I am going on Pyhsical Sweepers instead. So just tell me if i should change anyone!

In Netbattle?
The happiness is automaticaly maxed, and at the same time the lowest possible
[for Frustration and Return]

EVEN considering that point, I STILL prefer Hyper Beam, but it's up to you.

Lose 75 power [STAB included] for switch-ins that may be painful and Gengar, or keep it.

Bleakdragon55
11-05-2006, 12:04 PM
I have noticed that Return is weaker, so I will go back to using Hyper Beam.

Also the team works prefect! Sub with Ninjask then keep boosting then Pass to Swampert/Slaking/Tyraintar for kills.

When they die out comes Haryiama to finish or Ninjask to keep powering up to pass agian.

Aerodactly comes in handy agaisnt flyers and to annoy them to switch.

I still wouldn't use Hyper Beam. Yes, 225 base attack with STAB, but only 5pp, and you can't retreat. I prefer Return. As for what you said, only a physical sweeping team, you'll get SCREWED over by Cursepert/Curselax/Regirock =\ You NEED some special sweepers. As for your Hariyama... I don't use that thing. I seriously would rather use a Typhlosion as a physical sweeper (he actually works as one too... Reversal.), or something, but hey, it's all up to choice.

Another thing on your HB Slaking-Let's say you're using Hyper Beam, and I wait one turn before switching to Metagross (meaning I wait until your truant turn is over)-you'll use hyper beam again (thanks to your choice band), and it won't take out metagross. I'll have a free Meteor Mash/Explosion at you, because you CANNOT RETREAT HIM AFTERWARDS.

Even Aerodactyl could withstand it(I bet he could... and my Aerodactyl can dent your HP with 508 attack from having an adamant nature + choice band.)-but whatever works for you is fine by me.

Overall, I like your team-could use some special sweepers, some stallers, tanks, etcetera, some work, but otherwise, you make nice teams-good luck.

Bleakdragon55
11-05-2006, 05:54 PM
Hariyama isn't doing that well anyways, so I should replace it with Typhlosion? Maybe Metagross?

MagicBarrier
11-05-2006, 06:06 PM
Maybe Snorlax/Blissey/Regice so you'll have a safe switch-in to Hiddden Power Grass Zapdos?

If you want to go with one of your Pokemon, then use Metagross for a strong Cber and Normal/Rock Resistance.

Bleakdragon55

Metagross would be a good choice, anyone have a good moveset?

CB or Agiligross?

Metagross @ Leftovers
Trait: Clear Body
EVs: 252 Atk / 170 Def / 88 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Agility
- Earthquake
- Meteor Mash
- Shadow Ball

Metagross @ Choice Band
Trait: Clear Body
EVs: 184 HP / 232 Atk / 92 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Explosion
- Meteor Mash
- Sludge Bomb

MagicBarrier

Metagross @ Leftovers
Trait: Clear Body
EVs: 208 HP / 92 Atk / 208 SAtk
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Meteor Mash
- Psychic
- Thunderpunch
- Explosion

Mixed Metagross to deal with your problem with physical walls. HP Fire OHKOs Forretress/2HKOs Skarmory while Psychic should OHKO Weezing most of the time. STAB Meteor Mash is powerful, and you can always explode on something.

File > Export to Text makes your life easier. And my changes to your original team; even though you probably have different movesets, you're using the same Pokes.

I am glad I finally got Netbattle! I have been using this team for a couple of matched and won 2 out of 6 games{one of the games a guy used 2 Groudons!} So here they are.

Ninjask, Adamant
Item: Leftovers
Evs: 252 Hp 4 Def 252 Speed
Moves:
Baton Pass
Silver Wind
Subsitute
Swords Dance

I assume you haven't met a (pseudo-)hazer yet; if Skarmory/Suicune/Weezing/Steelix/Roar Swampert/whatever comes in, all of your stat boosts will be lost. If you want to use Ninjask, use a Pokemon that isn't affected by Roar/Whirlwind that you can pass to (i.e. Mr. Mime) or a Magneton to trap and kill Skarmory so it can't blow Ninjask away. In fact, Magneton would help this team out greatly.

Slaking, Adamant
Item: Choice Band
Evs:108 Hp 252 Attack 148 Speed
Moves:
Hyper Beam
Go with Clown Master's set on this.

Tyranitar (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 68 Spd / 188 SAtk
Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd)
- Crunch
- Focus Punch
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt

A mixed sweeper that ***** lots of Pokemon in general, and can damage Skarmory with Thunderbolt. A little outdated, but still effective.

Aerodactyl (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Rock Head
EVs: 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Hidden Power [Flying]
- Double-Edge

Aero works MUCH better as a CBer instead of stalling. 374 Speed to outrun Alakazam/Raikou/Sceptile/Dugtrio, then flinch with Rock Slide or use a powerful Double-Edge. Fun Poke, one you need to watch out for if you can predict your opponent's switches. ^__^

Hariyama, Adamant
Item: Chesto Berry
Evs: 252 Hp 252 Attack 6 Def
Moves:
Bulk Up
Cross Chop
Earthquake
Rest

It's replaced.

Swampert, Brave
Item:Leftovers
Evs: 236 Hp 176 Attack 96 Sp.Def
Moves:
Ice beam
Earthquake
Hydro Pump
Roar

Hydro Pump 2HKOs Skarmory while you can Roar away HP Ice Raikou/Ninjask/whatnot. 241 Spc. ATK for the average OHKO on DD Salamence and OHKO on Choice Band Salamence, 401 HP, rest in Attack and Defenses as you see fit. When in doubt, put EVs in Defense.

Some of these pokemon may seem like odd choices, here is why I chose each and everyone.

Ninjask- Fast and with Sub then increasement, it then can pass to the other 5 for a Great boost for them.

Slaking-One of the games I won came from him knocking out 5 pokemon by himself before getting killed. He works very nicely.

Tyraintar-Doom himself is here as a pokemon. He makes a great Subpuncher and with Baton Pass passing Sub his just punches

Aerodactly-Mainly to waste them away with Pressue. Using fly makes them waste 4 PP. Combo up Sub then Fly/Protect makes them struggle. Rock Slide is for other Flyers.

Haryiama-Pyshcial Sweeper much? Once passed from Ninjask, very hard to stop.

Swampert- Mainly to take out Special Sweepers using his Mirror Coat, he does make a great Pyshical attacker.

Any help at is a apperaciated.

Ninjask is another weak link when you meet a phazer (almost all good teams have one); I'd recommend ditching it. Probably for a Magneton, since you have a lot of physical sweepers and Skarmory/Spikes can get on your nerves if you're starting NB.

Oh, and Hyper Beam is HORRIBLE on Slaking. You can switch with Return; if you use Hyper Beam, your opponent can easily kill Slaking/set up (for example, Gengar can use Substitute and cause trouble from there) while you're a sitting duck. You don't want to lose a powerful Pokemon like Slaking. Return is already a powerful attack, and Slaking has the Attack to back it up. Return is much, much better overall.

For Metagross, seriously use something like Explosion/Agility/Meteor Mash/(Shadow Ball/Earthquake). Standard Agiligross.

If you want a strong fighting type to replace your Hariyama, Heracross/Blaziken's good, so is Breloom. Blaziken's a great Choice Bander, Mixed Sweeper, Special Sweeper, Physical Sweeper, Reversaler, killer. I usually use Endure/Reversal/Overheat/Rock Slide, but that can be risky. It's probably best to use Sky Uppercut/Flamethrower/Thunderpunch/Rock Slide on him, as a mixed sweeper. For Heracross, Reversal or Choice Band. Endure/Reversal/Rock Slide/Megahorn or Megahorn/Brick Break/Rock Slide/Earthquake. For Breloom(I love breloom, but I don't use him.), try Spore/Focus Punch/Leech Seed/HP: Rock/Ghost-I haven't tested that out, but it looks good to me written down. HP: Rock would be for fliers, but Breloom isn't that fast, so whatever. HP: Ghost would be for Gengar-Focus Punch won't even poke him.

Breloom @ Salac Berry/Leftovers/Quick Claw(whatever)
Adamant nature
252 atk, 252 spd, 4 hp(not the best probably, but maxed out sets work well for me)
Spore/Focus Punch/Leech Seed/HP:Rock/Ghost

Blaziken @ Salac Berry/Leftovers/Quick Claw/Choice Band
Adamant/Modest nature(Modest ONLY for special sweeping.)/Hardy nature(yes, most people say NO DON'T USE THOSE, I'm fine when i use neutral natures.)
252 Atk(or sp. atk, or do half and half for mixed), 252 Spd(he needs all he can get), 4 HP
Reversal/Endure/Rock Slide/Earthquake
Flamethrower/Thunderpunch/Hidden Power:Ice/Grass/?
Rock Slide/Sky Uppercut/Overheat/Earthquake

Heracross @ Salac Berry/Choice Band
Adamant all the way. 252 atk, 252 spd, 4 hp
Reversal/Endure/Rock Slide/Megahorn
Megahorn/Brick Break/Rock Slide/Earthquake

hope this helps

of course, the best thing to do is to use pokemon that you have always enjoyed using. For me, that's Alakazam, Charizard, Aerodactyl, Sceptile. Metagross and Salamence are killers-although I'm considering dropping my Salamence-suggestions(team link in sig)?

K, so I am going to switch out Ninjask and Hariyama for Metgross and Breloom since those seem like better choices. Also I am going to make Tyraintar include some special moves, I will update in a sec.

That Slaking needs more moves. =/ Return/Earthquake/Shadow Ball/Focus Punch shall suffice.

Also, Breloom should have Mach Punch > Leech Seed for Reversal/Flail Pokemon or just for a quick kill against a speedy sweeper. I <3 Breloom.

Swampert should be your starter, since it scares away Salamence and non-HP Grass Jolteon leads, and can launch powerful Earthquakes from the start. Aerodactyl also makes a good starter since it can use Rock Slide and see if your oppponent has a Rock Resistance or not.

Looks pretty good.

Man I love this Gyarados.
I just got someone using a Wobbuffet into a 6-0 lose [I kepy my 6 Pokemons,
he had 0 left] with my Gyarados at full hp.

Ew at Salamence.

If you want Dragon Dance Salamence, use:

Salamence (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 140 HP / 252 Atk / 116 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Hidden Power [Flying]
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide/Fire Blast

Fire Blast is for the inevitable Skarmory switch-in. 116 Speed gives you 264 Speed; after a Dragon Dance, it has 396 Speed, which outspeeds Pokemon like Jolteon/Aerodactyl. Max Attack is obvious, and the rest in HP is filler.

I think you made some mistakes in the battle, but I'll comment on that after I look at it.

I don't want to use a Special Attack on a pokemon who has a low Special Attack.

I have actually seen more Salamences and Dragonites then Skarmorys, so that is why I use Dragon Claw.

I will change Aerial Ace to Hidden Power Flying.

lol, Salamence doesn't have a low Special Attack; base 110 Special Attack is good. Even with the Special Attack drop, Fire Blast will 2HKO Skarmory and OHKO Forretress.

Dragon Claw is only useful for Salamence, Dragonite, Kingdra, and Flygon. Salamence and Dragonite are already 2HKOed by DD Rock Slide and Dragon Claw is also a 2HKO, so Dragon Claw is unnecessary. Kingdra sucks; even if you face one, Dragon Claw is a 2HKO while it OHKOs you back with Ice Beam. Flygon... use another Pokemon. Skarmory is much more of a threat to Salamence than Flygon.

Good on the HP.

What I am going with for a move set for Salamence is

Dragon Dance
Flamethrower
Rock Slide
Aerial Ace

Also, T-Tar sucks on my team, either its his moveset or just him. I am thinking about changing him, any suggestions?

MagicBarrier
11-12-2006, 09:38 AM
You should have HP Flying > Aerial Ace, but it's fine.

If you want another Tyranitar set that isn't redundant with another DDancer, use CBtar.

Tyranitar @ Choice Band
-Rock Slide
-Earthquake
-Focus Punch
-Aerial Ace/Hidden Power Bug

Heracross/Breloom or Celebi for the last slot, your Choice. Max Attack and Speed works fine.

If T-Tar doesn't work, I'd try a Snorlax. Great special sponge and attacker.

Snorlax @ Leftovers
Thick Fat
-Double-Edge
-Earthquake/Shadow Ball
-Rest
-Sleep Talk

Mops up sleep with Sleep Talk and special attackers while you fire attacks away. 480 or 496 HP, 300 Attack, 200 Defense, rest in Special Defense. Careful nature.

I am glad I finally got Netbattle! I have been using this team for a couple of matched and won 2 out of 6 games{one of the games a guy used 2 Groudons!} So here they are.

Swampert, Brave
Item: Leftovers
Evs: 252 Atk, rest in defenses/hp
Moves:
Earthquake/Curse/Return/HP: Ghost(my own moveset[or use Rock Slide/HP: Rock])

Cursepert, when used right, is a monster. Earthquake gets STAB, Return hits flying pokemon, and HP: Ghost is for Gengar. Alternatively, you could do Rock Slide to hit Skarmory.

Breloom Jolly
Item Leftovers
252 atk, 252 spd, 4
Spore
Focus Punch
Leech Seed
HP{Ghost}/Rock

Looks good to me. Maybe use HP: Rock for Salamence and stuff like that, all depends on what you want.

Salamence (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk, 252 Spd, 4 HP
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
Dragon Dance
Aerial Ace/HP: Flying
Earthquake
Rock Slide

Standard Dragon Dancing Salamence. Earthquake is for electric types, rock slide is for other salamences and stuff like aerodactyl, and aerial ace/hp: flying is for STAB.

Tyranitar (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 68 Spd / 188 SAtk
Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd)
- Crunch
- Focus Punch
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt

Fine, although I prefer the Dragon Dancing Tyranitar. I never was able to make the subpuncher work for me.

Aerodactyl (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Aerial Ace
- Hidden Power: Ghost

Pressure AND choice bander rolled into one-with a jolly nature and a choice band, this Aerodactyl has somewhere around 460ish attack points(i think). Pressure kills their PP while Earthquake and Rock Slide and Aerial Ace take care of the standard counters. Hidden Power: Ghost kills Gengar, one hit.

Metagross @ Leftovers
Trait: Clear Body
EVs: 252 Attack, give him 200 speed(not 200 speed evs), and put the rest in defense.
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -Satk)
- Meteor Mash
- Agility
- Earthquake
- Explosion

This is my metagross. Agility once and you've got 400 speed, then proceed to sweeping. What's better than a 405 attack pokemon with over 300 defense and 400 speed? A pokemon that gets attack boosts from Meteor Mash. One attack boost gets you up to over 600 attack, and that just plain rocks. If you want to, you could substitute in a few different moves... Thunderpunch(like you had, but i can't help with natures, unless you really don't want a fast metagross)/Rock Slide(for the oh-so-annoying-as-hell pokemon called SKARMORY that will totally outstall you)/Shadow Ball(for gengar and for fliers that resist meteor mash-whatever suits you best.)

Any help at is a apperaciated.

Fixes/Reasons in the post. Would you mind taking a look at my team too? It's in the sig-second one, not the 4 NB teams one.

wow, this is alot, lol.

I am going to change T-Tar to Snorlax first off and use Magicbarrier's set for it.

Second I am changing Breloom's nature to Jolly and using the Agillity Metagross.

Um all this is fine and dandy but now Skarmory can switch in on five members of your team (barring Aerodactyl Rock Slides) and set up Spikes and wall you.

Either place anti-Skarm attacks on your sweepers (Fire Blast Salamence and Thunderpunch Metagross) to catch it on the switch, or get a Magneton.

Also, please use my EV recommendations for Snorlax, as they make for a good special sponge and decent sweeper. You want Snorlax to be a sponge before physical sweeper.

And Breloom should be Adamant. It won't outspeed anything important with Jolly, and you want max Attack Focus Punches.

Bleakdragon55
11-14-2006, 06:06 PM
ok, I see your point, Magic

so, Breloom going for Adamant and Snorlax with 480, 300 Attack, 200 Defense, rest in Special Defense. Careful nature.

MagicBarrier

Cool.

And please get something for Skarmory; I know how the bird slowly eats away at your team if you're not prepared.

Bleakdragon55
11-14-2006, 06:59 PM
Usually Skarmory comes first, so Swampert can take him out with Rock Slide.

I have alot of Skarmory counters, so I will be fine.

MagicBarrier
11-14-2006, 07:31 PM
What Skarmory counters, I may ask?

Swampert Rock Slide does 16% to Skarmory max, and you can't rely on flinches.

Breloom Focus Punch can 2HKO, but you won't get Skarmory every time and if it switches in on another attack, you're screwed.

Aerodactyl Rock Slide is powerful and can flinch, but it isn't a surefire counter.

All of your other attacks will do nothing to Skarmory, and allow it to set up Spikes to damage four members of your team.

Get a Magneton/Rapid Spinner/more special attacks on your physical sweepers.
