I've seen some of the anime version and I've taken quite a likeing to this show.

However, my question is: has anyone licenced this manga?

Actually, the first volume of the manga is available from ADV's manga department. I like it, it's really good.

Does this anime has anything to do w/ Chrono Trigger or Chrono Cross. If it does, I am interested. Anyone want to tell me?

Nope, nothing to do with each other. Also, I want to point out that the real spelling of the title is Chrno Crusade, and Chrono is ADV's translation.

true, in japan they had copyright issues about using Chrono so it was spelled Chrno instead

Was it really because of copyright issues? It seems like they like to not put too many o's in the series, Chrno, Rossette Christpher.

Rosette and Chrno hunt down demons that attack people. Also, Rosette's brother was taken by a demon. Sound like a story you've heard a thousand times before? Did I mention Rossette's a nun, and Chrno's a demon himself? And whenever he unleashes his full power he takes a little bit of Rossette's life?

Oo. That's pretty interesting. I might watch it. A sister nun and a demon brother. Demon hunting is common, but the characters sound unique. Thanks for the info.

I'm borrowing the first DVD from a friend and I can't say I like the [English] VAs for Chrno and Rosette very much. Rosette's VA seems VERY similar to Rena's from .hack//LotTB, but it's a different VA I think. I've been keeping up with the manga (up to Vol. 4 is currently out) and I enjoy it. I've only seen up to episode 2 so far but I want to see how it differs/follows tha manga if at all. Anyone not following it should check it out, the manga and the anime (the manga in particular).

PS: This is a legal bump, correct? As I had reason to bump it and non-SPAM to add?

Haven't read any of the manga's yet but I've watched the 4 released DVD's and I love it. I think there is 6 total?

Rainking187 explained the core of the story, so if any of that interests you, which it should, then definitely pick it up :) It has a lot of religious references to it, but nothing that is out of line or too much.
