I've been collecting for a long while and decided I'd smoke everybody at the non-restricted (no cards are banned) local unofficial tournament this year. lol
anyway, I'm wanting to base it on my chaos Emperor Dragon and a Horus Dragon set (which I haven't got yet) Any cards I need to make this deck succesful? I also have BEWD and Armed dragon, but don't want to put too many high levels in the deck. I also have REBD; maybe side deck? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as this is my first time... thanks B_C_B

If your able to get the Horus cards, I'd say defnitely make a horus deck. Lol thats what everyone will tell you, since the spell lockdown really hurts your opponent once you can get it into effect. And uh, yeah, if that tournament has no restrictions then you should use that chaos emperor dragon. I wouldn't side deck red eyes as red eyes really does stink. Theres not any real good support to it, the effect of red eyes darkness may be a little good but for how long? Your opponent would just use smashing ground on him next turn and there goes that monster that was so hard to summon.

My advice:

-Stamping Destruction. 3 of 'em.
-Dragon's Mirror, if you can get Five-Headed Dragon.
-Royal Decree for the Horus lock.
-I'd reccomend against Chaos Emperor Dragon. If you use it, you can't enter any Advanced tournaments and the like.

Yeah he's right about that you can't enter advanced tournaments if you use your chaos emperor dragon. But as long as you use it in that traditional format tournament your going to enter, you'll be fine. Just take it out if you enter any advanced tournaments.

If you can get your hands on a five headed dragon throw him in...with a dragon's mirror of course.
If you're going traditional a nd you have the right cards then you could do the good ol' yata-CED lock.
I can't really say much about horus though,Because I run an armed dragon deck.

I play Advanced Format, but my Luster Dragon based deck does fairly well. Way better than my older BEWD/BEUD/BESD deck. Shining dragon was too hard to pull out.
