Great continuation of the last file.
So it was Kouyou who inspired Judai to become a duelist himself.

I wonder what the Demon was saying to Kouyou in his dream....

I was sure the flashback would end with Kouyou dying last chapter, but it's good to see he didn't kick the bucket yet. Kouyou fighting that dark creature in his mind may be foreshadowing to whatever is the main villian of the GX manga. It actually reminded me a lot of the animes Demon of Light.

Little Judai plays the original Heroes, cool...great way to tie everything together.

This has to be the longest flashback I've ever seen (2 chapters and counting) but it's worth it to get some much needed backstory on Judai. This blows away the random Yugi encounter from the anime and it's only getting better and better.

GX manga...I love you.

Ah, the GX manga's art is so easy on the eyes.

A nice thought comes to mind: since in the GX manga the words tend to stay in the thought balloons it will look much neater than the original manga when translated. I swear, I'm not obsessed with thought balloons :D

GX manga...I love you.

So do I, so do I.

BTW, George, I didn't know you were Misawa Daichi on Janime.

I think that might have been the first Judai used e-heros, because the female professor was shocked when he played bubbleman.

Nice! Still Battle City Duel Disks! Just like in GX Episode 1...

Man, this manga was better than the anime ever since Chapter 3 IMO, and it does not dissapoint. Kouyou is a great character, and a great mentor-guy for Judai looks up to.

I wonder now, how long does this GX universe take place after the original comic??

I wonder why there haven't been any friggin' interviews with Takahashi-sensei, I mean he does supervise both spin-offs.

I hope Kôyô gets a good send off.

Nice chapter. Didn't expect Kouyou to be alive this long (he'll be around next chapter, at least); I thought he died last time!
