to tell you the truth, the only real card that is good enough to be banned right now is: 8 trigram. the card has so many uses, it's not funny.

Zabuza is not the best card, it's imtimatating (bad spelling), but most people find ways around it, like more power, or...8 trigram.

Giant Vortex too is only good if the user is not bounced by...8-trigram.

the list can go on, but im tired now. that's how i feel.

its hard to say the best card i agree 8 trigram is great water vortex is amazing, but both have flaws, water vortex needs a jonin, so count out haku the demon brothers or any other water ninja besides zabuza and orochimaru, 8 trigram is mabey the best but all you need is a wind sythe, disguise jutsu, sharingan eye (depending on sauske and kakashi) i'd say the best is mabey multi shadow clone jutsu, but it to has its flaws al you need is an escape jutsu, but yeah it all works

sure, dosu is cool, but temari is worse...not much worse than losing cards in hand.

Where did you get that from, Temari works as long as the ninja moves from Healthy to Injured, be it effect or by combat.

one card cant be the best, bcause all card work together. zabuza is good but needs the water card to play him, kono is good but u need jonin in ur deck, vortex is good, but u need the 3 chakra, get wut im saying? i think a more 'fair' question would be to ask which card type is most importaint... but even thats unfair -_-...

Oh, and I say that Naruto Uzumaki [Self-Sacrificing Attack] is easilt the best card now. He blows Dosu out of the water.

i've check the offical FAQ for Coils of the Snake.

Temari's effect triggers when ever your opponent's ninja is damaged by the team temari's in. that includes jutsu cards, as well as ninja's effect.

heres the ruling, it has something to do with effect activation times

on topic: i agree with 8 trigrams being the "best." it prevents so many effects and has so many uses. plus relatively low cost. the requirement isnt much of a drawback.

There can't be a best card in the whole entire Naruto TCG,for many reasons,a few being:


new sets get releasted alot,and new cards get made,making older outdated cards opsolete.

it could be being used in the wrong deck,or and by a crappy naruto TCG Player. for instance if you used a kazekage in a kakashi deck,consisting of NO gaara's or any other sand support.

other cards may pwn that card....to hell. there are many diffrent play techniques that screw over a good card like Kakashi Hatake [early Settlement],and other SR's.


and as i said in reason 2, cards can be srewed by the player,and the deck,like if you played (for some ******* reason) a kazekage in a releasing the seals deck....you know,it's just like...Why?..Why Do it?!

The thing is he can't use any of the really good Jutsu like Vortex and Trigrams. Haku is an outdated card that is replaced by better 3 drops.

the fourth is kinda good kinda bad cause if ya got ninja like naruto and use the fourths effect then thats making one ninja weaker to make him stronger but when you have someone like jiraiya or tsunade and you use the effect then you got a better team to use. but all in all i think trigram ane giant vortex are the best to use.

No doubt he is a useful card, but this is about the best card in the game, which Haku is not. Most of the time my 3 drop ninjas are going to be 2 or 3 Hayate DaP and 1 or 2 Tayuya, even in mono water.

So what if the cards I posted have hand costs, they are still some of the best cards in the game. Hand costs are easy to pay, and it's easy to have a Jonin out so you can use Trigrams.

its definitely NOT aoc... Neji (another means of absolute protection) shuts him down singlehandedly. but yeah there really is no ONE greatest card because whatever card you choose, there's a card to counter it well.

they both pretty much have the same uses. they can be situationally used to negate jutsus, and they can weaken a team/players field advantage

vortex costs one chakra more. OH NOES! it has THREE TIMES THE EFFECT for just ONE more chakra..

you could say "but wait, they can counter it!" sorry, invalid arguement. know why? ANY JUTSU CAN BE COUNTERED! so you shouldnt consider countering when determining a cards usefulness. you can counter jutsus with trigram AND vortex. you can beat teams with trigram AND vortex.

in short, vortex does the same thing as trigram, but three times as good. if your big team gets vortex'd off the field, youre in BIG trouble. if ONE ninja gets trigram'd, you can still survive.
