Recently I was looking through my guide book and saw something interesting.

Sometimes Munchlax comes through town and drops some apples, help him and you get a Munch Belt.

that isn't the point though, it also says it can not join your team.

I got disappionted and and played my game for a while.

A couple day laters I looked to see where you get Snorlax and it said," Evolves from Munhlax at Lv40" and a location, but it is the evolution that got me wondering.

I look at the front and its Nintendo's OFFICAL book, so I don't know what is going on, is it a spoiler or what?

The thing that said 'evolve from Munchlax at lv40' was probably referring
to the games in general [D/P] or if you somehow got a Munchlax [hacks?]

As far as I know, you cannot get him, but you can catch Snorlax.
