Anybody think the new Pokémon Kabarudon (http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-dp/450.shtml) is going to be an OU Pokémon? Obviously you'd have to create a Sand Stream team based around it, but I suppose it could work as a physical wall on a Tyranitar team. It certainly has a good enough movepool:

- Body Slam/Double-Edge (Always good moves on a Curser)
- Crunch (Now a physical move, so works with the good Atk)
- Curse (Nice Atk and Def boost; not fast enough for Speed loss to be a problem)
- Earthquake (STAB and major damage)
- Elemental Fangs (Physical moves go great with Atk, plus give status)
- Frusturation/Return (Depending on how you operate, another darn good attack)
- Rest (MAJOR recovery)
- Roar (Hey, its Spd sucks anyway, and psuedo-hazing is always good)
- Rock Slide (Only the best Rock attack there is)
- Slack Off (Recovery)
- Sleep Talk (Works with Rest)
- Substitute (Creates 101 HP Substitutes without full HP EV's)
- Yawn (Psuedo-psuedo-hazing? Yeah, I'm pushing it)

It's base stats aren't half bad either, with HP, Atk, and Def all over 100, and it has higher SDef than Donphan. Personally I think Kabarudon would make an excellent OU Pokémon, but do you? Discuss.

Just as an afterthought, I'm going to post some possible sets other people and I come up with.

0v3rBl4st's Curser Set
Kabarudon @ Leftovers
Trait: Sandstream
EV's: 252 HP / 6 Atk / 252 SDef
Impish Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Crunch/Stone Edge
- Curse
- Earthquake
- Slack Off
Strategy: Curse a few times, Slack Off the damage, and sweep. Crunch and Stone Edge (more specifically Stone Edge) hit everything Earthquake can't.

Comet's Curser Set
Kabarudon @ Leftovers
Trait: Sandstream
EV's: 176 HP / 52 Atk / 30 Def / 252 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Curse
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Slack Off
Strategy: Same as 0v3rBl4st's, but with Rock Slide for accuracy over power. I also varied the EV spread a little more to make it less Speed-based, since Speed isn't meant to be Kabarudon's strong point. You could, of course, mix and match movesets, EV spreads, and Natures.

Comet's Choice Bander Set

Kabarudon @ Choice Bander
Trait: Sandstream
EV's: 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant/Jolly Nature (+Atk/Spd, -SAtk)
- Body Slam/Double-Edge/Frusturation/Return
- Crunch/Rock Slide/Ice Fang/Thunder Fang/Fire Fang
- Crunch/Rock Slide/Ice Fang/Thunder Fang/Fire Fang
- Earthquake
Strategy: Baton Pass an Agility or Rock Cart or two and sweep. Remember that prediction with Choice Banders is key; do not use Earthquake unless you are absolutely sure that your opponent will not switch in a Flying-Type to take the hit.

Earthquake
Curse
Slack Off
Stone Edge/Crunch/Whatever.

Done.

Breaker: I included Rest because of Rest-talking. And personally, I'd have gone with Rock Slide over Stone Edge. Accuracy over power, remember. And could you post an EV set? I'm thinking of compiling a list of possible movesets.

Haha I'm very very bad at EVs, however Overblast posted those:
Kabarudon
Impish
Leftovers
252 Hp, 252 Special Defense, 6 Attack
- Curse
- Slack off
- Earthquake
- Crunch or Stone Edge

On his team, here:
http://www.pojo.biz/board/showthread.php?t=354784

Also, Rock Slide has only 10 more accuracy but 25 less power, and no high chance for critical [it DOES have a flinch chance, but this Pokemon will, like, never go first]

Also, I don't like having only Earthquake as an Attack, because of only 10PP and it doesn't affect Flyings, so his whole time cursing is wasted.
[Especially if you use Sleep Talk, with only 1 attack?]

That's also why I picked Stone Edge, so it can be effective against them.

he's like a physical Snorlax

Pretty much.

Breaker: I realize this. Fact of the matter is, accuracy is generally better than power. Is it better to have a 4/5 chance of doing massive damage to an opposing Flying-type, or a 9/10 chance of knocking some dumb bird out of the sky? Besides, after a few Curses, it won't matter which one you're using.

Yeah.. maybe.. we'll have to see how it works in-game, and if people will actually use any flying..

Yeah. That Mukkuhawk might be worth something, or Fuwaraido...

Added some possible movesets to the list, and posted on 0v3rBl4st's thread.

Anybody else have any opinions on this sand-spewing hippo?

Question - You said Rock Slide is the best rock attack out there?
I still find -10 accuracy, +30 power, + High crit chance superior..
