I'd base your decision on whether or not you like heavily strategic games or not. Casual or tournament play aside, this game is more strategic than any other I've played insomuch as there are multiple options at every turn. Right from the beginning...do you play a resource or do you draw a card?

Best part about the game now is if you can find a free Open Beta tourney to participate in before the full release of first edition next month.

This game seems designed for everyone, if you just do your research on the net, you could probably design a tournament-winning deck, and win yourself some money without spending alot in the first place. My kind of game.
