im not talking about rules but more about the stategies, mind games etc...
what are the basic plays to do . like what to do on your first move with a basic cc deck. what are the bad plays to do. like playing heavy with you havin 4 face down m/t on your feild and how do you play mind games with your opponent like trying to make them do bad moves.

You should read Julia's articles about mind games. For the most part I just follow the "charm schooler" method. It will never get a judge called against you for it. Sometimes in casual play I'll say "I set a Mirror Force - uh...I mean a card" everytime I set, but I wouldn't push my luck in tournament play.

Some simple strategies are:

Searching for your searchers, i.e - Running 3 Mystic Tomato and having them search themselves out, to maintain field presence while under attack from multiple opposing monsters, work to the ultimate degree with giant rat and pyramid turtle.

Dump & Revive - Toss out summoned skull with graceful charity or by discarding him for tribute to the doomed, then revive him with premature burial or call of the haunted.

Sangan - Every time sangan dies you search you deck, so it's almost always best to revive sangan from the graveyard for the purposes of a tribute summon. Or say.... Cannon soldier damage. Sangan is the personification of the concept of what a "+1" is when used correctly.

Fake outs - Playing a trap line up with 3 jar of greed is a mind game. They waste removal on the jars and you draw a card.

Creature swap searchers - you have two giant ratts out and you opponent has opponent has a shining angel, use creature swap, give him a giant ratt, if you attack the giant ratt with you giant ratt you get two special summons! If you were to attack it with the shineing angel both you AND he would get a special summon, this works because when the giant ratt you put on HIS side of the field goes to the graveyard, it goes to YOUR graveyard and thats where the effect activates, this also works with sangan.

40 card decks - It's best to run a 40 card deck, the only exception I've ever found to this would be a really tweaked out harpy deck. Never run Jar of greed outside of a 40 card deck.

That's enough for now.

Yet another mind game, shuffle your hand around and use extremely annoying cards like bounce, drives people at my local nuts.

well, sorta, but there are hands that are considered 'bad hands'. like getting all high-leveled monsters on your 1st turn. to avoid it, regularly sort your deck.

Pwn your opponent in the 1st turn after your opponent with heavy storm, cyber dragon, IFL, nobleman, and ceasefire. LOL

heh, I actually did something like that (pwn'n my opponent in my first turn after his first turn) - I used double spell, twice, to copy his Graceful charity, and used my own Charity my field was 2 Sillva, 1 Goldd, and 1 Beiige.....I smacked his f/d mon (a Magical Merchant) off the field w/ Goldd, then atked directly (he had no back field) w/ my other three, set two monsters and ended.....he drew a card, I said game in his main phase and flipped over Ring of Destruction on a Sillva.

anywho.....

some of my mind games is to make a few odd phrases up (like poke-age) during the duel, it off sets the seriousness most of the time.....I also enjoy using odd cards to throw off my opponent (like Final Destiny w/ Diamond Dude, make's them think twice).

I don't really run CC so I couldn't say what that would be like.
