Does it change the final stats at Level 100 if you have it completely EV trained by Level 6 (Possible by using 6 Exp. Shares on Route 101) or if it takes until Level 14 to EV train it? I have a neutral-natured Heracross that has a 348 max atk instead of a 349 and my Alakazam only has a 403 sp. atk (positive nature) Is there a reason for those couple point dfferences from their max possible states?

It all depends on IVs. Your Heracross probably had a physical attack IV of 30, so its stats were just below max.

Here (http://64.72.117.249/games/ivs.shtml) is all you need to know about IVs.

Just search around for EV help. Too lazy to make hyperlink.

I know about IVs....I used the calculators based off HP types, and through all of that boring stuff...they should both have 31s in their respective IVs...but they don't =/ And my main question wasn't about IVs, it was about if when they're EV trained matters in their overall stats.

Here's a run-down of EVing.
1. Get egg/wild pokemon.
2. EV train Right Away-do not give pokemon EVs if it has already gained experience points prior. That will mess with the EVs.
3. Get ribbon to know EVing is complete
4. Level up EVd pokemon by whatever means neccessary.

Yes. EVing a pokemon will help boost their overall stats.

Let me rephrase the question: Does it make a difference if the pokemon is raised to level 30 (Rare Candies, etc, no experience points) then EV trained, then trained to level 100 instead of it being EV trained at level 5 and raised straight to level 100?

As far as I know, it doesn't make a difference.

It makes no difference, but ev training can't change anything if the pokemon is at level 100 before getting the evs.

Actually, if a pokemon is level 100 and hasn't gained any experience points, you can still EV and then deposit said pokemon into the box. The stats will change when you withdraw it.

Tried that with a level 100 rayquaza which I reverse eved. No luck.

It doesn't work if you already gave it stuff. You need to have a lv 100 that got to that level through daycare or rarecandies.

Dang, there goes the rayquaza with three 30 iv stats :(
Thanks. I haven't really thought about pokemon for quite a bit as of late.

Too bad about your Rayquaza...you can always get another one, though.

Indeed. When I have the time, I will go for a 31-all modest rayquaza, though I might die before I get it.

Yah, good luck with that. I hope you don't have anything else planned for well...the rest of your life.;)

I was kidding, you know. I'll probably settle for a 27+ all modest, which I have seen for many other guys relatively quickly.

I know you were kidding. It can be hard to generate sarcasm over the internet.
Anyway, Rayquaza isn't really the best Uber. Mewtwo/Groudon/Kyogre all fill that slot in my book.

Not Arseus? lol
Yeah, I vote Kyogre for R/S/E/Fr/Lg generation.

Arseus is in a whole different generation. I wouldn't consider it an uber anyway. It more falls under the category of...Absolutely cheap. (120 base in all stats? Come on...)

Uber transcends generations ;)
Absolutely cheap? Why that reminds me of Mewtwo in R/B/Y!

As stated previously, I wouldn't consider Arseus to be Uber. It's more like...a Todschick Uber pokemon.

Can you define your view of Uber once again? Sorry, I'm a bit out of it.

I made a thread on it. -_-'
