I don't usually make teams and what-not...so I need some help.

I want to make a Ludicolo Annoyer for a team, but I am not very adept at making teams like this. This is what I was thinking...any help would be great without sarcasm...

Ludicolo @ ???(don't have a hold but was think of Leftovers)
Rain Dish
Calm/Bold(I have a bold nature already)
252 Hp 126 Def 126 Sp. Def 6 Spd
- Leech Seed
- Rain Dance
- Protect
- Ice Beam

I was thinking about giving him a STAB technique but don't know if that is wise. Just need some help...thanks to all who contribute.

Ludicolo @ Leftovers
Rain Dish
Bold(I have a bold nature already) Bold is good for Ludicolo
252 Hp 126 Def 126 Sp. Def 6 Spd
- Leech Seed
- Rain Dance
- Protect/Toxic
- Surf

Fixes in Bold.

Thanks, I was thinking Toxic, but when they switch out(and they will) it becomes reg. Poison...alot of people don't recommend it. Surf is a great one...thanks...dunno why I didn't think of it. Seriously...maybe it's because I don't look at the HM's when I create...lol

Thanks, much appreciated.

I would go stay with that bold and go for
Toxic
Leech Seed
Rain Dance
Surf/Protect [rather Surf, because it is important for him to also have an attack, and with Rain Dance + STAB it can do some hard damage]

Hmm, I am convinced...I'll get rid of Ice Beam and go with Surf...when I think about it...it IS kind of obvious.

Any other tips would be appreciated as well...

Any EV help? Or am I good for now?

Your EVs look fine, except I'm not sure about the 6 for speed...maybe give those to Special Attack?

Hmm, I'll consider it...thanks

My reasoning is that Ludicolo in't very fast to begin with, and it does have a special move so wouldn't it make sense to plug those last 6 EVs into Sp. Attack?
Not that 6 EVs will really make a difference, but still...

Too true my friend. Too true.

I will take advantage of your help and see what happens. Thanks alot...still looking for more help if people feel the need...I can always use a completely diff. Ludicolo.

Also, look for more Threads by me soon hopefully. I have tons of pokemon I wish to experiment with, and most not as far as Ludicolo was when I posted.

Those 6 EVs will barely change anything, so put them in whatever you want, it doesn't matter. [Defense/Sp.Def/Sp.Attack, doesn't matter]

Here's another Ludicolo moveset, if you're interested:
Bold@Leftovers
EVs: 252 HP, 96 Sp.Def, 96 Def, 66 Speed
Rain Dance
Ice Beam
Surf/Hydro Pump
HP Grass (if you can) or Leech Seed

The basic special sweeper set for Ludicolo

Hmm, That seems alright...I am assuming that we use Swift Swim instead of Rain Dish for his Power...and why Leech Seed if I can't get HP Grass(I most likely won't try)...why not another sweeping move? Just curious...

I DO like the set though...I will write that down.

Another thing you can try is Giga Drain instead of HP Grass, or maybe even try this:
Ludicolo@Leftovers
Leech Seed
Rain Dance
Giga Drain
Surf

Some weird HP absorber yet not an annoyer.. more like, sweeping?

Hmm, maybe, but it's still annoying especially if you have Rain Dish...you heal from Giga, Rain Dish, Leftovers, and Seeding...annoying as hell.

he he he...I think I have a new best friend. :D

Yeah...Ludicolo is a pain to see pop up in the Battle Tower. Especially if its the rain dish set. Very annoying.
