well if it's casual and people dont mind playing decks with 40.... but technically you need to have 60 now...

It's a pretty good deck for just 40 cards, most people who play Magic casually run their decks to a minimum of 60 or higher, 40 is more like the number of cards you'd run in a draft or sealed deck.
You can add some Exhaustion's to help slow your opponent's down to make it to your win condition faster.
Also you may want to consider running Sensei's Divining Top to help hit your key cards faster, trust me it works wonders in just about any deck. Also Telling Time or Sleight of Hand would work good as well.
Hope that helps...

thanks guys. In regard to the 40 card thing: most people i play with dont care whether or not you have 60 cards in your deck, so im gonna keep it at 40 so i can get to the win faster. I cant do telling time or sleight of hand because im keeping the deck pure red. But... the divining tops are a really good idea, i'll probably replace them with the flames of the blood hand, because i dont have them yet and they're really hard to come by where i am. any more suggestions?
Additional Comment:
Also, can you guys rate the deck out of ten?
Additional Comment:
aw, no comments. :(

i dont think it would be good in competetive (it seems its not made for that anyway), but it would be really funny in casual, just to get spiked like a million times.
