They actually got the original opening themes for the dub! They've ditched that crappy song for the Asian Kung Fu Generation's Haruka Kanata in tonight's episode. What I want to know is, why didnt they just use the same visuals as well, instead of the chopped-up show clips mixed with clips from all the different Japanese openings?

I don't really care about the opening but NAruto ones are really long so I guess the music could be better. I'm into R&B and Rap right now so I'm not really big on that style at all. But some are still better than others. How many songs have there been so far in Japanese and English? And what are their titles?

Yeah, I can't believe they kept Haruka Katana. The scenes they showed weren't as good as the Japanese ones, but I liked them.
Plus Jiraiya's VA is great!

The visuals for Haruka Kinata were relevant only for the 3rd Chuunin Preliminaries.
This was a great move.

I had the same reaction as Shinobi when I first heard the opening and it wasnt the crappy American version that they have been using.
Ack! The episode just ended and they dont have the orignal closings, still the crappy one.

And I think that was just about one of the funniest episodes ever. Jiraiya's voice sounded like my uncle's. Too bad I missed the first 7 minutes. =/

I laughed like crazy on this one, but Jiraiya creeps me out.

I also found it funny how Naruto misunderstood him and calls him pervy sage.

As much as I don't like the songs going in chronological order (the 3rd OP's not the best, but meh), I understand why Viz decided to use OP2 instead at this point. The mixed footage really doesn't make sense, but oh well. =\
Canada's about 5 eps behind, so I can't wait until I see this.

They changed the OP, crap. I can't believe this is the one eps. I decide to miss and they change it. Just my luck.
