Naruto Anime (Japanese)

Alright, people. I looked through 5 pages of Threads, and I didn't see anything on the Anime. I'll assume that it's because no one really wants to talk about Fillers at the current moment, but hey. We need a thread started so when the new season comes out, and it's Naruto 2, it'll be here.

Oh, and for those of you who don't expect it, I'll throw this out there too:

**WARNING** This thread may, and will, contain spoilers to the Animated Naruto Series. For those of you who only watch the English anime, there is a thread for it on Page 5, if I do recall. Please, do not enter this thread if you have not kept up with the current Naruto Anime in Japanese.

I'll start things off with the current Episode. 202. It was nothing but a clip episode with a surprise twist at the end. Naruto was beaten up several times through out the show, was mentally PWNED by Neji (Who can't mentally pwn Naruto?) and was featured in 2 of the top 5 fights. ((Both of the fights, ironically, also featured Sasuke...)) The top 5 voted fights were:

5: Naruto vs. Sasuke on the hospital rooftop ((Resulting in Sakura Punching Naruto in the face... lol))
4: Chouji vs. Jiroubi ((In which Naruto calls Chouji fatty, and gets part of the set destroyed))
3: Kiba vs. Sakon and Ukon ((Naruto insults Kiba, and gets bitten by Akamaru))
2: Neji vs. Kidoumaru ((Naruto insults Neji, who does a Jyuuken strike on Naruto, and sends him through the Top 5 Board))
1: Kyuubi Naruto vs. Curse Seal Level 2 Sasuke Rasengan Vs. Chidori ((In which Naruto is really only insulted by Sakura...))

Then they showed all the scenes that they seemed to be able to find of Sakura punching Naruto

Then they cut to their special Guest.... Jiraiya on scene to introduce the Guest....

Orochimaru.... Who made a joke about being in his hide-out and not being invited to the Studio... ((Rofl)) Then while he is talking, Sasuke breaks in, saying that if Orochimaru has time to talk, he has time to finish training him.


All in all, I liked hearing from Orochimaru, and next week is the 90 minute special... 3 episode length! Cool... One step closer to Naruto 2

I really wonder, why are they making these episodes? They aren't going on missions anymore, and they only hang around to make a tv show? I wonder what's going on? Also, I might think the 90 minute special is the Naruto Movie 3. I wish it was! That would be cool.

And Naruto 2's all filler? It that's true, are you saying Naruto basically ends with Sasuke going his seperate way (Oro), and Naruto training with Jiraiya, and Sakura with Tsunade?

Volume 28-29 is about Chapter 200-210. Which is definitely where KAkashi Gaiden starts. And if you convert that to Anime...I'd say around Episode 100 something.

Kakashi Gaiden? Sorry I read a fan translation of the manga, so I'm not too familiar with the anime or Arc names.

Kakashi Gaiden was the storyarc in the manga between Naruto leaving the village, and the start of Naruto 2. It's the Kakashi backstory.

Gaiden was too short to be a history of Kakashi. It only gave a breif reference to Kakashi's team and showed how Obito died. And how Kakashi got the Sharingan. I think there's more behind to it then that. Perhaps foreshadowing something in the future. Because we never really see Obito die.

Theres a new OP + ED out for the 90 min special, the OP is wierd and the ED shows a clip of Naruto in his Time Skip clothes. Fillers are ending soon......just dont know how soon.

We don't see much of Lee's Drunken Fist. Its awesome though.

I remember a bit in the manga (I know this is Anime, but...) when Lee has a hand out at Gai and his head is pointed in the other direction. Gai is offering a bottle of beer. And it say's "Sorry, Gai Sensei. I can't learn the Drunken Fist until I'm 21". It was one of those start-of-the-chapter unrelated pictures.

Well, I just watched 203-205... they kind of packed them all together as one 90 minute special. It wasn't subtitled yet, but it was a GREAT episode. Lot of Genjutsu being used. I love Genjutsu. Apparently, this girl has the power to make pantings come to life in a sense. ((Sai, much?)) She was painting this picture of Konoha, and Naruto watched. She had it raining in the painting, and after she painted it, it started raining. Then she made lightning strike the Hokage office... And what happened? Lightning struck. It was a cool episode. Once it gets subbed, I'll update this with more info... I don't speak that much Japanese....

Oh, and the fillers just might be coming to a close soon... In the ending credits of this "movie" they showed Naruto running, and the picture flashed a little, and it showed him running in his post time skip outfit... But it flashed back to his pre-timeskip outfit before it showed his face...

We are watching stupid fillers for about a year and a half.
Some are funny, and my favorite episodes ARE Fillers, after all, but enough, we want Gaiden.

He said that he cannot drink alcohol because he was too young.

Well, I watched the newest episode (or at least what I believe what is the newest one) and I didnt really catch any references to a theory about the leader of Akatsuki. Care to explain it to me ZanarkandAce?

Well, my theroy is that it MIGHT ((Remember, Theroy and Might were used here, so it's not confirmed)) be the girl's father. Eyes are similar, and it would fit the bill... Sandaime orders the girl's mother and father killed... They survive through some skillfull Genjutsu... And return at a later date after having retreived all of the Bijuu for their revenge on Konoha... Her dad might be the leader. Just a thought I have. Someone wronged badly by Konoha.

Kishimoto has nothing to do with how long the fillers will last, but my guess is they will last for about "(forever+24)^8 x Pi" years.

Sooner or later Japan will have to stop the fillers eventually and get back to the main story, otherwise Kishimoto is gonna get alot of hate mail due to it's redundancy...

Still If you're tired of waiting for the filler episodes to end in the anime then just read the Naruto manga, you won't regret that you did.

Nah, it's the monster inside her that's causing the evilness. Also, why would it suddenly relate to Orichimaru when they are in the middle of fillers? It could be true, I'm not saying it's not, but it just seems unlikely. I suddenly had a thought. Asuma died in the Manga, then he has to die in the anime. Will he die like he did in the Manga?

Yes, I agree. The fillers have nothing to do with the story line, and they advance the story very little. But taking THAT into account, why did Orochimaru bother with Mizuki? Why did Orochimaru bother with ANYONE that he messed with in the fillers? The Fuhma Clan? As well as others. There is nothing to say that this couldn't be another of Orochimaru's Manipulations, aside from the demon in Yakumo... Which we have yet to really see...

Eh, mentally unstable, evil, same thing :rolleyes: . He was pretty damn evil in the beginning, but like you said, mostly due to the influence of Shukaku and not sleeping.

Actually, when he was a small boy, he was actually quite innocent. Only until his caretaker told him that she was sent to assisinate him, he started going mad and killed tons of people.

That's exactly how most of the village thought even when he became Kazekage. Kankuro thinks otherwise though.

If you never had ONE frien and everyone didn't even bother to look at you, do you think YOU'd be mentally unstable?

I think its not the Biju's fault. (In a way, it is.)
