The duel between Kaiba and Tenma continues as more backstory unfolds. It seems the last of the three devils is going to be displayed in this chapter, possibly handing Kaiba a swift, painful defeat!

In the manga things like Noah and DOMA didn't exist, so Kaiba has only been defeated by Yugi and Pegasus. I'll find it weird that Kaiba will be defeated AGAIN in a canon storyline...

Alas, Tenma needs to show his fangs. So far he hasn't really gone into action.

I wonder if he is going to actually complete project "R"ebirth...

I have been thinking about something. Would Tenma's name be dubbed in the US? There is a precedent for doing so, as in Reshef of Destruction, Pegasus went under the alias "Taiyou Tenma" (this was probably the inspiration for Tenma's name), but was dubbed as "Sol Chevalsky." Taiyou/Sol represented the sun, while "Yakou" appears to translate as a journey in the night. I cannot imagine the nefarious scheme of Luna Chevalsky going over quite so well... :o

Actually, Chevalsky would sound kind of cool for an R villain. 'Fraid I can't say the same about 'Luna'...no one would take that guy seriously.

Awesome chapter, really awesome. Kaiba's kickin' ass and Yakkou's gettin' backstory.

But the artist (Itou isn't it?) still can't quite draw Kaiba right. It kinda distracts me from the greatness of the rest of the chapter.

awesome episode. Avatar pwns so badly, it is like this shapeshifting Dark God or ownage. THis cahpter was good too, the dark gods controlling Tenma and his face going all crazy cool. Great chapter, now all I need to see is the outsome.
