I need help. I can't beat Omega Weapon in the Omega Ruins. I've got all the secret Aeons and all my characters have stats at around 60, but I still can't win. BTW, I'm playing the PAL version so he has 999,999 health instead of 99,999. HELP!!!

i dont know much about the PAL version but ill do what i can... since hes got more HP youll need break damage limit on your guys... get as many celestial weapons as you can... esp. the ones with evade and counter (caladbolg, spirit lance?, and world champion) simple spells like protect and shell should help too... youll need auto-life too i guess... it might be useful to have someone with auto phoenix on their armor as well i would also suggest that you level up more and get your guys stats around 80-100... omega has many magic based ATKs so youll need high magic def. as well... if your aeons are having trouble taking him out just level up yuna as they are inertwined in their stats

What I would do is get my stats up first...

Then, put Auron, Tidus, and Rikku in the main party.

Make sure to have everyone's overdrive ready.

Play Hastega. Play Banishing Blade. Do some mix to raise your stats.

If your Aeons can do damage break, use Yuna to do Grand Summon.

Kimahri should learn his strongest Overdrive here... I forgot what it was called, but if you use Lancer, you can get it.

999,999. Damn I wanted him to have that much health. I killed him in about 6 turns.

Auto-Life and Auto-Phoenix is a must of course.

Heh, just summon all your Aeons, one by one til they die...

the attack you get from Omega Weapon is Nova which is Kimaris strongest. They seriously should have kept Omega Weapon with 999999 hp in the english version, because it was so damn easy to beat him I just did one strike with my anima and he fell.

I wish I had the American version. It'd be easier for me to get to places, like Besaid after I get the airship if it wasn't for those ********** Dark Aeons. I had to reset about 10 times while praying for Yojimbo to use Zanmato before he actually did it against Valefor. And if OW had 99999 health he'd be pathetic.

Wow thats one weak Kimari you got their mine went over damage limit the first time I got him so meaning you still need alot of training if your kimaris Nova only did 3000. By the way Bribe Omega Weapon about 200 000 GP so you can get 99 of something I can't remember its name but I remember it was quite useful, to make a certain ability.

I remember they could be used to make the ability Master Thief for Rikku but i'm not sure if its that ability.

It's actually 2 million gil... to figure out the bribe amount for any enemy, multiply their max HP by 20.

My STEPS of BEATING NEMESIS-

A) max out the sphere grind of all of your characters much as possible.

B) get all the celestial weapons all of your characters to full potential.


C) customized your party's armor. Put Break HP Limit, Ribbon, +40 Hp, & Slowproof. (Dark Matter sooooo RARE) Or Break HP Limit, Slowproof, Poisonproof & +40 Hp.


D) put Tidus, Wakka, and Yuna(or Lulu) in your party. be sure their Overdrive meter is FULL.


E) Cast Hastega, then Auto Life. then use blitz ace, if you maxed out tidus sphere grind and his celestial weapon is its full potential. You can inflict 50,000 to 60,000 damage if you use Tidus Blitz ace. 99,999 each hit if you use Wakka's Attack reel overdrive.



F) Just use Yuna cast Curaga. Don't forget to cast Auto-Life AGAIN after Nemesis use its overdrive. And cast curaga and hastega again. JUST repeat...& you'll be just fine...

all sphere grid maxed out, 75,000+ HP, 255 for every stat and luck at 150+

all with celestial weapons doing 99,999 per hit

break hp, ribbon, auto haste, auto phoenix

if u dont win from here, there is something wrong with u lol

have yuna cast auto life or whatever for 1MP, then attack with her, use her summon to get it killed so u dont lose any energy :)

the guys attack and overdrive when they get it, its that easy, it takes a while cause he has a lot of HP, but he is easy

penance is harder, he takes a lot longer cause he always brings his arms back which u have to destroy again and again *sigh*

follow all that make sure you use quick attack with every character... speed will nail nemesis... dont have yuna in the party and switch her in right before nemesis' turn and have yuna summon an aeon which will become the sacrificial lamb for nemesis' attack

yeah spirit gerald, thats they way to do it, keep casting quickhit, and then swap in yuna for the aeon summon to take the brunt of the hit

i usually just use her cause her 1 mp for quick hit is great, i also use lulu at times, so when its close to nemesis attacking, i swp out yuna, then bring her back just before he attacks lol :D

Dont know the PAL version, but as far as U.S. version is concerned, heres how I beat Omega:

Party: Titus, Kimahri, Auron

Have Tidus cast Hastega on the party, Kimahri is there only to get Omega's move by using lancet, so lancet then get him out of there, bring in Yuna. Auron it there for beats mainly. Have Tidus cast Haste on Yuna, and use Yuna to cast shell and reflect on the party. IT IS IMPORTANT to keep an eye on the turn column. Now, heres what happens by the time Yuna has protected everyone: Yuna should be well in overdrive (either before match or during). Auron and Tidus (helps to have Tidus' Ultima at this point) should have weakened it by now, and Omega should only attack once or twice. I Grand Summoned Shiva and she finished of Omega in one shot with her overdrive move.

This is how I did it, and I do not know if it works for others. I have beaten the game 7 times now (favorite game ever), and every time I use this strategy I beat him up every time.
