I picked up the starters and started playing with my friend. These are a few things I don't get:

1. What are used for battle rewards?

2. What is an outstanding victory?

3. Can you use any type of Jututsu or Misson on any type of Ninja?

1. What are used for battle rewards?

The top cards of your opponents deck become your battle rewards.

2. What is an outstanding victory?

A victory where your team Power is 5 points or higher than your opponent's team power.

3. Can you use any type of Jututsu or Misson on any type of Ninja?

Unless a Mission/Jutsu says it has a requirement, anyone can use them. But most powerful Jutsu/Mission have a Name (Haku, Naruto Uzumaki, Third Hokage), Characteristic (Sharingan Eye, Jonin, Animal), Combat Type (Taijutsu, Mind, Manipulation), and rare times Symbol (Earth, Wind, Fire) restriction.

Alright one more question

What if my opponent doesn't have any Ninjas? Can I still attack them?

You only gain battle rewards when you attack their village. (1 rewards if your ninja's team is 0-4 power, 2 rewards if your team is 5+).

You may send teams to attack at any time other than Turn 0 Starting player. Your opponent then chooses which teams to block with (or they can decide to not block at all).
