I always teched two Wave-Motion Cannons, you'd be surprised how often you can pull some big damage with it, especially against Cyber Stein decks.

I'm thinking Ceasefire and Magic Cylinder and most definitely Waboku. Waboku to stop OTK decks from...OTKing. And least not forget the rise in popularity of Vampire Lord and Phoenix, so BTH isn't going too far.

Hydrogeddons are intense. Especially with decree. mad field advantage.

Last Will has been a pretty good tech for me.
With Exiled Force at 2 per deck I can use it's effect to clear the way then activate Last Will's effect to summon Don Zaloog, Spirit Reaper, Wildheart or even another Exiled right from my deck to gain uber advantage.

yeah the whole point of tech cards are that they are secrets I was going to tech a card for the SA regional but someone else beat me to it. All i can say is it goes hand in hand with Gadgets and is a trap, and isnt Royal oppression. Thats enough hints. But its still a secret. Dont sink.

Naw, it's Royal Decree.
If you're not going to share your tech, then what's the purpose?
Let's see... Waboku is decent against all those Chimera and Stein decks.
Gyroid should be used more. Y'know? Only one Reaper...

Hydrogeddon has been nearly amazing tech in my deck..with double controller and book, turning a bigger monster to def to allow a run over and a freebie 1600 beater..even worse with no back field and summoning Cyber first..take 3700 and I have 3 monsters in 1 turn w/o using premie/call?

Decrees suck this format. They do? They work wonderfully for me. To me it seems that Decree owns this format.
Jowls of Dark Demise and MBaaS.

Kycoo x2 :p and Banishers will be teched
this format, keeping the cards in your grave will be the key factor, helps to disrupt PoA, Ninjas, etc
iced_metallica

I really doubt Decrees Suck... People Expect For there not to be decrees anymore and start to use the Trap Trio which is maybe working but not that much... Specially Decree... Traps will increase, Decree will Rule!!!

Here's a little piece of tech a friend of mine came up with. Play Disappear. In case you don't know what it does. Choose one monster card from your opponents graveyard and remove it from the game. The it's tech is that you can chain to so many awesome cards. Stops the effect of premature, call, PoA, any card where you select monsters from the graveyard.

actually Lily seems to have picked up serious popularity I guess without chaos return people are have noticed, 3400 is nothing to play with . its searchable by 3 good things sangan , last will , and its 1400 element searcher (meaning its searchable by anything). I takes down anyt monster in competitive play, and if you hit someone directly you cut them off from stein and put them into your stein range. It also doesnt hurt you big time against traps like ring and cylinder. last its def is actually decent enough to stand against low monsters
I use it in my Dark World (my competitive and only deck) and I see it as a more safe mine stein.

Last Will. W/2 Exiled this card will have major impact in the current meta, especially UDE/Konami didn't restrict or ban Stein.

sand moth
injection
juitsu
widespread ruin (for some reason so many ppl are running cyber phoenix's and this is great against them)

i been using Jowls of Dark Demise and mystic wok from the start of this format and they work wonderful for a soul control deck, also threatening roar is great.
I also side in sand moths for people running exiled, zaborg, T.T., etc.
Seen people playing macros in my area now more too...so i side D.D. Dynomite...

Spell Striker
-More or less free special summon
-RotA-able, which in turn feeds it's summoning cost
-Can be used with Warrior Returning, which again feeds it's summoning cost
-Lets me push for near-game safe in the knowledge I can go for game with a direct attack next turn
-Tribute bait that doesn't fall so much to D.D.Crow (like Treeborn Frog/Malicious), that's instant (unlike Treeborn Frog/Reaper/Marshmallon), doesn't require dumping/setting up (like Treeborn Frog/Malicious) and doesn't depend on your opponent's actions (like Brain Control/Soul Exchange (which render the Caius/Zaborg/Raiza in hand useless if opponent only has one card on the field))

04-06-2008, 06:57 PM
wow this is OLD niccee
uhh this format=needs better tech
i tech Anti-Spell Fragrance in Samurai (sided) Single-handedly got me t8 at regs with a generic sam deck
also, Transmigration Prophecy, why is this "out of style?
its superior to DD Crow vs DAD, because the darks become much slower back in the deck

Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell (Negate D-Draw or Allure, it becomes a dead draw, there goes the whole engine)
Anti-Spell Fragrance (Again, having to set stuff like D-Draw, D-Fusion, and friends while you are running something like gadgets or SS really screws your opponent over)
Royal Oppression (This kills all the RFG stuff, DAD, DMoC, Disk Commander, Malicious, etc.)
Royal Decree (Bye Bye Magical Explosion)
Prohibition (very good, negate 1 single card like Grandmaster, DAD, D-Draw, Allure, Cyber Valley, Magical Explosion. No wonder they've never reprinted it. It's an amazingly underrated tech card)
Twister (This is useful at times.)
Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror (No DMoC effect, no Disk Commander Effect, no DAD effect, no malicious effect, no dasher effect, etc. etc.
