I'd like to see these two small teams in a Marvel set, just because the characters are so interesting that it would translate to a very diverse mini-team - I mean, a Runaways team would have an alien, a mutant, a dark wizard, a time travelling dinosaur, etc, all in one team - that's awesome. Pair them up with Young Avengers and maybe Marvel would have their own version of a Teen Titans deck. Also, throw in The Pride (the Runaways' parents) and have their mechanic work that would require you to hurt your own characters in order to boost their respective child, much like the way it works in the story. Just a thought.

A few ideas.

"Gertrude Yorkes <> Arsenic, Animal Handler" and "Old Lace, 87th Century Deinonychus"
Old Lace may only be recruited if Gertrude Yorkes is in play. When Gertrude and Old Lace team attack with no other characters, each gets +3 ATK and +3 DEF. When Gertrude Yorkes or Old Lace becomes stunned, stun the other as well. During the recovery phase, if Gertrude Yorkes or Old Lace recovers, recover the other as well. This plays off their empathetic bond in the comics, where one gets hurt, so does the other, etc.

"Nico Minoru <> Sister Grimm, Dark Sorceress", "The Staff of One" (3 drop equipment), and "When Blood is Drawn..." (3 drop Plot Twist)
"When Blood is Drawn" - Ongoing: Whenever a character named Nico Minoru is declared the target of an attack, you may search your deck for "The Staff of One" and add it to your hand, or, search your KO'd pile for "The Staff of One" and add it to your hand.
Nico Minoru - If Nico Minoru takes breakthrough damage, equip her with "The Staff of One" from your hand, without playing its cost.
"The Staff of One" - Unique. A character equipped with "The Staff of One" gains the ability "Pay 2 endurance --> Exhaust target character. Use this abiltiy once per turn, and only once per character name". After "The Staff of One" has been used three times, return it to the owner's hand.
This whole mechanic plays off of the fact that in the comic, Nico stores The Staff of One in her body, and when blood is drawn, it removes itself from her. She then can use three spells before it returns to her body, but she cannot cast the same spell more than once.

"Molly Hayes <> Brusier, X-Gene Positive", Mutant Trait Physical
Free --> Molly Hayes gets +6 ATK, or Invulnerability. If her ability is activated, after she attacks, stun her. At the start of the recovery phase, recover Molly.
This mechanic plays off of the fact that whenever Molly uses her mutant ability too much, she gets sleepy and needs to rest. And her flavor text should be "I'm going to marry Wolverine". Classic.

"Molly Hayes, Princess Powerfull"
Cost: 7

Atk: 20
Def: 20

Every turn Molly Hayes, Princess Powerfull is on the field, she looses -5 Atk and -5 Def during your build phase.

Oh, and here's another:

Plot Twist: "Flaming Barrier"
Cost: 2
Opponet's target charecters with a cost of 4 or less and without range and flying cannot attack this turn.

Flavor Text: Chase: "This is for Rodney King, ya'll!"

I made a couple of Lucy in the Sky a while back. I don't have that great an imagination for game text, plus I tried piecing these together in Paint before I got that set editor program.
