Well, now that most of the Ktpng have stopped playing DM, this is our retirement thread, hopefully people will always remember the Kids that Play No Games, because we truly were the best. This is a tribute to all members:

Drizer, David Pendergrass
P-Sleeves77, Sean McCabe
cecillbill, Christina Page (still no information as to why she doesn't come here anymore)
mohamed1111, Mohamed Al-Hendy
Matt Dautrich
Kaijudo Kid, Tom Rogers
Horus Master LV8, Daniel Seghers
Mike Lenarcyk
Kyle Rickevicius
Himura363, Zac Pelo
Sniper989, Brandon Thomason
Mr. Simpson, Ben Pflughoeft
BT67, Brian Tabar
Ownageness, Jeremy Bennett

And with that, the Kids that Play No Games, are a retired team. It was a great run, and I'm really sad to see it go, but it's time. I never thought we'd be as big as we got, when Sean and I created the team back in last October. Now I say, for the last time, one last time for all of us,

"We don't play no games."

we don't really need to know this even if they were great players what we need is some support to save our game.

This game is dead, get over it. Theres no more point in playing. You put tons of money into it, and get nothing in return.

I put tons of money in it -- and got PLENTY of return.
I got weekly tournaments in 6 different local stores.
I travelled within and outside of my state to play in Invitational events.
I played in both National Championships.

Like all hobbies, you've got something you must buy before you can play, and you need to find others interested in playing and a facility for it to occur at (whether it be golf, tennis, bowling, cards, minis, etc).

I have a new game now - I travelled to Indy and Atlanta to play it. I'll also go to Chicago, Anahiem, possibly Seattle, and Orlando to play it. In our store, it has killed YGO (because 3 of the 8 YGO players now play Dreamblade). It will probably kill DM (because as the events get bigger - already 20+ players), the tournament goes past the DM start time, and there are never 8 non-Dreamblade playing people in the store. And the delayed DM set isn't helping things.

As long as we are still gaming, we'll undoubtedly cross paths (and I hope to cross Christina's path 'cause that beyotch owes me money from the L.A. Continentals).

Dude, get your friggin' facts straight. There was about 4 or 5 big DM teams.

I made a similar complaint back in May -- she e-mailed me and said she'd pay me in Charleston. Beyotch was a no-show. Of course, she e-mailed me after the first Continentals and said she'd mail me a check.

She's a maximum freeloader (4 hotel nights, rental car, L.A. Convention Center parking fees - and I had to buy one of her meals). No money, no thank yous, no favors (not that I would have accepted) - and I was a bit miffed that she didn't bother to bath the whole time.

Yeah, nobody knows what happened to her. It's just like she disappeared off the internet. Nobodies heard from her since May. You can probably use the Phone Operator to track down her number.

I have to say that my oppinion of this subject is very similar to that of GordonKane. I had a blast playing DM, it gave me the thrill of victory that I couldn't find in Magic, my previous game of choice. I got to meet tons of new people and travel to a new state (South Carolina). I will never regret playing DM, nor will I stop playing if someone offers a game. We still have monthly freebie touraments that I plan on attending, but the game is dying and I have no intension of putting anymore money into this one. It is time to move on, as hard as it may be for some.

Goodbye to KTPNG. I got to know a lot of you at the CC's and you were a cool bunch. Here's hoping that you never regret playing either, and that someday we may meet again on the card tables. Cheers to you.

P.S.: GordonKane, and here's to hoping that we get to butt heads in Chicago over 10k. :p

Oh, the unnecessary lies.

Where to begin...

Firstly, I stopped coming to Pojo due to moving/seperation that left me without internet access from June 2006-Nov 2006 & Nov 2006-now. I was here in early June 2006, which is when I last contacted GordonKane. GordonKane did not respond to my last email or PM before the Charleston CC. I did not go to Charleston because of court proceedings and lawyer meetings from June-July following a seperation, but no promises were made about Charleston.

Secondly, GordonKane asked for the following expenses only: 1/2 parking at the LA center for 3 days (1/2 of $10.00 a day), and 1/2 parking at the hotel for 3 days (1/2 of $14.00 a day). Those are the only two expenses he quoted in email in exchange for free room. However, $5.00 was borrowed to pay for one fast food meal after the event.

Lastly, as for the not taking a bath slam...lol...I shouldn't even validate that lie with a response. I understand that he is upset. But, to resort to lies is shocking.

...but just to clear up the so-called "smelly cecilbill" stuff....

LMAO...

I took SHOWERS.
Ever. Single. Day.

At last count, a shower or a bath can both get a person clean. I took showers using my own hypoallergenic soap and deoderant. I am one of those people who do not sit on public toilets, and who do not use hotel tubs to take baths. Call it my OCD.

Now, with that out of the way...

GordonKane, you can return my email/PM. It's a shame about the 1/2 parking and the $5 meal money. But, it's also a shame that you'd lie about the bathing, saying thank you, etc.

G'day folks.

I don't know why the hell everyone is flaming Cecci in the first place!

Hey Cecil! I haven't seen you in time, yo! You might not remember me, but I'm Kerokero from here and ********. I just had a name change, lol.

Glad you cleared all that up. I seriously thought that this was all true, and while I didn't change my mind on you being a good player, I was shocked to see a person run away from their bills so abruptly.

Scary, but glad you cleaned all this BS up. :D

Sorry to hear about the seperation cecillbill, and I apologise greatly for what I said in my last post as I obviously didn't know the full extent. Being probably the biggest legend to grace the game, I didn't think that we wouldnt talk again some day. I've been through the same situation as you are going through now and it is very tough, so I wish you all the luck in the future.

GordonKane and I both were good players who were vocal in the community. So, everyone being inudated with only one side of the story for so long just took seed. Still, I have a right to contest the libel, and the discrepancies in the presentation of the actual agreement terms. He has a right to seek completion of the actual agreement terms. People will believe what they want to believe regardless of what anyone says here, but the issue needs resolving. He can reply to my email to achieve a respectful resolution.
