Okay, I'll address your points with some ideas of my own that I've picked up through all of my reading and stuff...

1st: The 4th didn't seal the Kyuubi in Naruto for his portection, he did it for the portection of all of Konoha. Naruto falls into that catagorey, but why, to protect someone, would you seal a dangerous spirit in them?

2nd: It's possible that Naruto's mother and father were both killed by the Kyuubi in the fight. Coincidence. Also possible that Naruto's mother died in child birth. Remember that when the Shukaku was sealed in Gaara, his mother was a sacrifice for the ritual. Could have been the same with Naruto...

3rd: His legacy could also be the legacy of the boy who holds the Kyuubi. The strongest and most dangerous of all the demons... That could have been the legacy.

4th: Jiraiya could have been appologizing because if Naruto died, then the 4th's effort to seal the Kyuubi would have been for nothing.

7th: When someone says that someone else looks just like a movie star, that doesn't mean that they are related, does it?

8th: Konohamaru wishes to be Hokage too. Yes, I know that he's related to Sandaime, but that doesn't mean anything. Tsunade's boyfriend wanted to be Hokage too... That doesn't make him related to a Hokage.

10th: He sealed the Kyuubi in Naruto as he had just been born. Naruto's the star because of that fact.

And Yondaime is a title. It boils down to "4th" The full title is Yondaime Hokage. There was Shodaime (Tsunade's Father? Grandfather? One of the 2) Nidaime, Sandaime, Yondaime, and Godaime.

There are points that make it seem like they are related. But we can't be sure until Kishimoto-sama says it in the manga. Until then, we can only speculate. I didn't wanna disprove all your ideas, but I wanted to show you how your ideas could be coincidence too.

As for my attempt, it sadly was. I could have done a lot better, perhaps on your level or higher, about a year ago. However, due to Summer Vacation, A Average Spanish Teacher, and a slacker class of students who are all older than me who don't know the Ser, I've turned stupid. I'd gladyly want to switch out of that class but I don't want to mess up my schedule.

That's why there's still speculation. if they did indeed say that Naruto was the son of the 4th, it would have been big news, and every naruto fan would have known by now.
