Mini Darksteel Colossus 7
Artifact Creature
At the beginning of your upkeep, put a growth counter on <CARDNAME>. At the end of your turn, if there are three or more growth counters on <CARDNAME>, sacrifice it and search your library for a card named Darksteel Colossus and put it into play. It has haste until end of turn.
"Just you wait!"

It's interesting, but I doubt it would see play outside of superultramega-timmy decks.

with his version, nothing. The original poster's version probably would have triggered in the upkeep, so haste would make sense. which is why that template is a bad one...

Let's retemplate this card:
Mini Darksteel Colossus 7
Artifact Creature
<THIS> is indestructible ("Destroy" effects and lethal damage don't destroy it.)
At the beginning of your upkeep, put a growth counter on <THIS>. Then, if <THIS> has three or more growth counters on it, you may search your library for a Darksteel Colossus and put it into play. It has haste.
Or what is, in my opinion a more realistic version:
Mini Darksteel Colossus 7
Artifact Creature
<THIS> is indestructible ("Destroy" effects and lethal damage don't destroy it.)
At the beginning of your upkeep, put a growth counter on <THIS>. Then, if <THIS> has three or more growth counters on it, sacrifice it. If you do, you may search your library for a Darksteel Colossus and put it into play. It has haste.
*I'm not sure if it should be "It has haste." or "It gains haste until end of turn." I just figured that the 'end of turn' clause was a redundancy so I opted for the former.
