Why is Sakura So Weak?

I just got the starter deck, and I noticed she only had 1 power and no effect.

Yeah, Dterminationm Sakura is godly. Amazing Mental power and effect. And Sakuras pretty weak in the anime too.

Oh yeah I know what you mean, especially this nice 3 card combo:

Sakura Haruno (Determination) + Inner Sakura + Sakura's Decision = card advantage.

Unless If you have Kakashi's Foresight in play, you can play one of those missions in one turn, then the other next turn since you can only play 1 Mission card per turn.

Still, great combo overall. Basically, you have Sakura in play, stack your draws with Inner Sakura, then draw those cards you just stacked with Sakura's Decision and viola! :D

Oh yeah I know what you mean, especially this nice 3 card combo:

Or, since it doesn't matter what order you put the cards, you'll draw all 4 using that combo, you can draw 3 then stack your draws and draw 1.

Also, every ninja has their 'average' stats, most of the Genin are not all that flashy with them:

Naruto: 1/0 - 3/1
Sasuke: 3/0 - 1/0
Sakura: 0/1 - 0/1 - M3
Ino: 0/1 - 0/1 - M1
Shikamaru: 0/1 - 0/0 - M4
Choji: 2/0 - 0/0
Kiba: 2/0 - 0/0
Shino: 2/1 - 0/0 - M1
Hinata: 0/1 - 1/1 (She starts pulling Naruto style "I'm better injured" stunts later on)
Lee: 3/0 - 0/0
Neji: 3/0 - 3/0
Tenten: 1/1 - 1/1 - M1
Gaara: 4/0 - 2/0
Kankuro: 1/1 - 0/0
Temari: 0/2 - 0/0 - M1

Sometimes they vary from this design (No Effect Tenten, Kankuro next set) and sometimes the character will get to have higher stats later on (Naruto, Sasuke, Shikamaru) but this is a frame of reference to work with.

I do agree sh is sexy, she isnt that strong in the show, Later in the mangas though she get super strength, I am interested to see how she is going to be then.

Excuse me? Going by the latest fillers, Sakura has shown huge potential! Did Tsunade not say that Sakura may be as good a trainee as Shizune was? In the manga, post time skip that is, Sakura could most likely destroy Naruto or Sasuke. Esei are made of stern stuff, kid! Get your facts right.

Sakura (post skip) couldn't even destroy Naruto or Sasuke (pre skip). She's gotten better, but not nearly enough. She could probably poison Naruto's ramen so he can't mold chakra right and just make him less useful.

There are always weak cards. In the Anime, NAruto 1, she's pretty weak.
