I was looking at some stuff on Wikipedia and noticed something interesting. It mentioned that there's a cheat you can use in Colloseum to catch more than one pokemon with a master ball.

I believe that you choose the item option for your first pokemon. Select master ball, and target the shadow poke, Then with your 2nd, select items, and switch the master ball's position with another ball (i.e. Pokeball, great ball) Then, I think just do an action with the second after you switched balls, and it should catch the shadow without fail. You should still have the master ball.
