hi, im Robbie Price, im new to Pojo, but im tryin to help my league out so here's my report for the Tourney (i won it)
The Deck:
3 Squirtle (2 with Bubblebeam, 1 w/o)
1 Wartortle (Tailwhip)
1 Blastoise (Not delta)
1 Gulpin
1 Swalot
1 Cacnea
1 Cacturn
2 Lotad
1 Lombre
2 Mudkip
2 Marshtomp (1 hug, 1 w/o)
1 Jigglypuff
1 Celio's Network
1 Castaway
2 Potion
2 Dual Ball
1 Holon Circle
1 Warp point
1 Cessation Crystal
8 Water Energy
3 Grass Energy
3 Fighting Energy
Match 1: Me vs. Bert Hubbard
ok, so i started with a Gulpin, a Castaway, a Celios, a Potion, 2 Water Energy, and a Fighting energy. he started with a Cacnea.
T1 I went first and used Amnesia to stop his Cacnea's CFF. he played an electrike and attached an energy to cacnea.
T2 i played Celio's and snagged my swalot. i used Pick and Choose to poison and put him to sleep. he woke up before his turn so he retreated and brought up Electrike and sniffed out for something.
T3: i played Castaway to get a grass energy and Cessation Crystal and KO'd his electrike. he brought up cacnea and used CFF for squirtle
T4: i KO'd Cacnea. he brought up Squirtle but failed to paralyze me. I KO'd it.

Match 2: Me vs ? (person who's name i cant remember)
i started with a Jigglypuff, she with a Cacnea. i tried to put it to sleep, but it didnt work. She used CFF for a pokemon.
T2 i tried to put it back to sleep but yet again it failed, i had a squirtle on my bench, wartortle in my hand, and a Celio's network and was waiting for the water energy. she used CFF again.
(skipping to about the 6th turn, because i cant remember the specifics)
T6: she made a crucial mistake and brought up Grumpig with 1 psychic and 2 grass energies, she couldnt use Circular steps (by this time i have a wartortle with 2 energies, 1 water and was waiting for a 3rd b4 evolving)
T7: i drew the energy i needed and used Hydro Pump+ Cessation Crystal to get around thick fat, i just used hydro pump on all of her pokemon from there on out.

Match 3: Me vs Craig
yet another Circular steps deck, i dont remember what happened exactly, but basically i got out blastoise faster than Speedy Gonzalos and killed his pokemon b4 he could get out ol' grumpy.

Match 4: me vs Kyle
he started with Squirtle and i started with Jigglypuff and he had Whismur on the bench, i had Cacnea. he cant paralyze me and a luck draw my Cacturn, i just had to wait for the fighting energy. so i used Jigglypuff's attack to put him to sleep. he doesnt wake up until the end of his turn. i used it again to put him to sleep. yet again he doesnt wake till the end of his turn. i do this until i get out Castaway, search for a fighting energy, and got out Cacturn. i started to snipe his Whismur and Wingull and us Cacturn's power to put more damage on his now loudred. he retreats his pokemon and brings up loudred to do 40 damage on me. cacturn has taken 50 damage. i play Potion and use Light Punch for 100. he ends up getting out Pelliper but i kill it easily.

Match 5: me vs ?
i get out Swalot really fast, and i et 2 prizes from it. he brings up Swinub to deal 60 damage to it. then he brings up Treeko to KO it. i bring up jigglypuff and put it to sleep, he gets out Grovyle d and i put THAT to sleep. he ends up having to retreat for his anectric and kicks away jigglpuff. i bring up my fully powered Marshtomp (not the 1 with hug)and snipe off Grovyle and do 30 to Manectric. he kicks away and i bring back Jigglypuff, then i retreat it to bring up Marshtmp and deal 30 damage to manectric while sniping at his grumpig (for nothing) he potions and kicks away. i use Squirtle to put the 10 damage on it that i need and kill it with Marshtomp.

Match 6: Me vs Billy Frazier
this was simply pwnage. i get the full blastoise line in my hand at the start (trust me, i shuffle like a madman before every match) and i just wait for the water energy, doing 10 to his pokemon a turn with squirtle. he is powering up Charmeleon on his bench so i quickly evolve into Wartortle. he retreats and uses Swinub to deal 20. i get the water energy and quickly evolve. as soon as blastoise ripped through Charmeleon it was won.

all in all, i NEVER expected to do this well at a prerelease.
