View Full Version : Things to consider for the future

I know this game hasn't even been out for a month, but I am seeing so much potential in it. Rarely are games this simple, fun, and easy to understand, and yet have such a massive amount of strategy and underlying complexity. With that said, here are some things I would like to see for the future...

Team play. 2-on-2 matches would KICK ass. We could either have it so that each player brings in 8 figures, or, we have a 10x10 field with a grand total of 64 figures for some utterly massive brawls. Play could either rotate, or with 4 dice with initiative and spawn points split evenly between the 2 on a team. However it is set up, it would still be hella fun.

Bigger, better figures. I am talking about Galactus or Great Cthulu sized here. Make 'em either trophies based on some flagship unit that can't actually be used, or, better yet, allow them to be used on those 10x10 maps. Make things fair by letting them be the only figure you are allowed to summon or something, I don't know.

New aspects. I already have a few thought out, like Hope (Big on defense and life, and not so much power), and Bestiality (representing the unrestrained violence and utterly depraved evil that humans in toto are capable of, as opposed to Fear that represents things people don't understand).

Something like the vanguard system Magic used to have way back when, when a special card would be set aside and give you, the player, boosted abilities. Probably call them... Dream Blades! I am thinking they might let you shift AND attack with one action, or let you shift diagonally, or give you an extra spawn point on top of the 2 you already get with every monster destroyed, or that supports a given lineage. Make them casual only, relatively rare, and very, very pretty.

I think alternate mats have been rumored to be "under construction". For instance, a triangular mat for 3-person play. =)

i cant wait- more than 2 people playing would be fun =-)

i would also love to see even larger 'minis', mabey they would count as like, 4 minis in your warband instead of 2 or something (?). or just make bigger ones for fun- the maps can def. handle even bigger minis ;)

I could definitely see a couple pieces that would work. Normal sized pieces would obviously count as 1, and then we we would have double and 2.5 sized pieces that count towards the 16 as 2 and 3 pieces, respectively, both in construction and in cell stack limit. Make em kickass and a really high Aspect cost, and it would be pretty dang fun.
