You might want to look at the R/W precon from Ravnica. It's cheap and good.

R/W precon?? Ravnica??
"Precon" is a shorthand way of saying "preconstructed deck". It's exactly what it sounds like - a complete 60-card deck with just enough to get you started. (Since you are a Yu-Gi-Oh player, think of these precon decks as Magic's equivalent of a Structure Deck.) "Ravnica" is the expansion set that this deck is built from.
Anyway, the precon deck in question is a Red/White deck called "Charge of the Boros". You can find a complete listing of what's in the deck here. (http://www.wizards.com/magic/displaythemedeck.asp?set=rav&decknum=3&lang=en)
A word of warning, though. Precon decks tend to have a combination of a few good cards and, unfortunately, a slew of cards that aren't so great. But then, that's the whole point of a precon deck - they give you just enough to make you want to buy more cards and improve the deck.
Fortunately, there is some useful advice for modifying this deck cheaply. Back in March, Charge of the Boros was modified in a three-part series of articles for MTG's "Building on a Budget" column. They're a bit dated now, but you can glean some useful information from them that can help point you in the right direction:

Charge of the Boros, Part 2 (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=mtgcom/daily/jm142)
